[UPDATED 12 OCT]Bugged spells & talents in Damnation

We are currently assembling a list of broken spells on Damnation. If you might encounter one that is not on the list, please post it so we can get it fixed.

Once the PTR is up these spells will not work but we will be working on them so check each day and see if they work.

Post in this thread if you encounter a bug which is not listed here.

ImageDeath Knights
  • Runes are resetting the timer for depleted runes whenever you use any other ability that require runes.

    Blood
  • The bloodworms do not heal the Death Knight.
  • Dancing Rune Weapon does 4 damage & it doesn't do the same abilities as the death knight.

    Frost
  • Festering Strike is fixed but not yet implemented.

    Unholy
  • Raise Dead does not work.

ImageDruids

    Feral Combat
  • Rake and Rip do low damage, are not effected by +30% to bleeds effect or mastery and do not crit.
  • Feral Swiftness 4% dodge chance doesn't work.
  • Feral Aggression does not work at all.
  • King of the Jungle does not work at all.
  • Stampede does not work at all.
  • Leader of the Pack No buff shown and does not work at all.
  • Nurturing Instinct doesn't increase healing taken in cat form.
  • Primal Madness does not work at all.
  • Blood in the Water does not work at all.
  • Rend and Tear does not work at all.
  • Pulverize does not work at all.
  • Savage Roar does not work at all.
  • Savage Defense doesn't work in bear form
  • Thrash does not work at all.
  • Swipe (bear form) does not work at all.
  • Vengence does not work at all.
  • Stampeding Roar (bear) does not work at all.
  • Stampeding Roar (cat) does not work at all.
  • Maul damage is way too low.
  • Faerie Fire (Feral) does not work 100%
  • Frenzied Regeneration does not work at all.
  • Savage Roar isnt increasing Auto-Attack Damage
  • Maul does only 150 damage
  • Berserk is not having a chance to remove Mangle cooldown, but disabling it complelty
  • Lacerate is doing way to less dmg

    Restoration
  • Heart of the Wild does not work at all.
  • Malfurion's Gift is fixed but not yet implemented.
  • Swift Rejuneration is decreasing all Global Cooldowns
  • Gift of the Earthmother no Instantheal for Reju
  • Revitalize completly broken
  • Tree of Life ability enhancing not working.

    Balance
  • Mark of the Wild only gives agility and magical resistances.
  • Glyph of Starsurge doesn't set the CD to 5 seconds.
  • Combopoint dots also

ImageHunters
  • Move To (Pet) does not work.

    Beast Mastery
  • Aspect of the fox when get hit with melee attack it removes itself.

    Marksmanship
  • Master Marksman with 5 stacks Aim Shot isn't instant.
  • Hunters mark, when you try to use it on an enemy it selects youself.

    Survival
  • Trap Launcher does not launch traps and it also removes the other traps from the action bar somehow.
  • Deterence, it doesn't reflect everything.

ImageMages
  • Clearcast is proccing on every spell, but not consumed nor giving a Clearcast
  • Improved Mana Gem does not work

    Arcane
  • Mirror images. Show up with a box on their head.
  • Improved Polymorph does not work
  • Invocation stacks up to 4 times proccing every spell cast, but does not increase spell damage
  • Nether Vortex is not working
  • Prismatic Cloak only works sometimes
  • Mana Shield absorbs only 4k Damage

    Fire
  • Flame orb deals 1/4 of the damage it should do .
  • Scorch does half the damage it should do.
  • Arcane Missile proc does not have a count down timer and the ability to use missiles doesn't disappear til it is used.
  • Fire Mage - Scorch can't be cast while moving.
  • Fire mage, Impact never procs, and combustion does not work, it deals damage when casts but does not create a new DOT. Also you can't run and cast
  • Hot streak does not proc either as a fire mage

    Frost
  • Brain freeze is not triggering til on hit so standing at max range I can get double frostfire bolt off before I lose my proc.
  • Early Frost Speed Bonus does not Fade for 15 seconds.
  • Improved Freeze not working
  • Ice Shards adds no slow to Blizzard.
  • Permafrost Water Elemental is not healed
  • Piercing Chill is not working
  • Reactive Barrier not working
  • Frostfire Orb not working
  • Icy Fingers proc too less (0.5% tested with 150 casts)
  • Mind Freeze does not disable Arcane Missels proc & Proc too often.
ImagePaladins

    Holy
  • Holy Wrath does not work

    Protection
  • Shield of the Righteous damage is low.

    Retribution
  • Exorsism damge is sorta low.

ImagePriests
  • No bugs currently known

ImageRogues
  • Weapon speed is bugged, or display is, claims i have 1.9 for both weps, and SnD bring them both to 1.39... I have a 1.4 speed weapon.

    Assassination
  • Rupture doing low damage, and it doesnt seem to be effected by buff from hemmorage(30% bleed damage increase)
  • Garrote also does very low damage

    Combat
  • Shiv does 300 dmg... 200 less then base weapon damage before stats, Dont know if it removes the enrage effect yet or not

    Subtlety
  • Ambush does less damage then backstab, should be critting for 14-15k but its around 5k.
  • Vanish "Improved Stealth" doesnt happen at all, just puts you in stealth, any DOTs pull you right back out again.
  • Smoke Bomb creates a smoke cloud that protects anyone inside from being attacked, still keeps targetting up, so its really not helpfull at all. Needs to break target when entering smoke bomb, and make anyone inside smoke untargetable to anyone outside.
  • Combat Readiness does not stack at all, not even sure if it reduces any damage whatsoever, and even tho i was being attacked, i still lost the buff earlier then full duration
  • Hemmorage hits for 1.5k, and crits for 3k, I know rogues arnt supposed to have high dmg but this seems very low to me

ImageShaman
  • Glyph of life stream totem - doesn't give the resistances bonus

    Elemental Combat
  • Tidal Waves completely doesn't proc.
  • Fulmination - doesn't do the lightning shield orb damage when over 3 lightning shield stacks when you earth shock (it doesn't consume them or do the damage)
  • Lava Flows - Doesn't proc the lava burst reset on cool-down

    Enhancement
  • Improved Water Shield doesn't remove the water shield stack however still procs.

    Restoration
  • Healing Rain doesn't work at all (no healing is being done)
  • Nature's Blessing doesn't give the bonus to single target healing when healing the target with earth shield.
  • Cleansing Waters doesn't reduce the mana cost and also doesn't heal you when you remove an effect using Cleanse Spirit.
  • Ancestral Awakening doesn't proc from what I could see

ImageWarlocks

    Affliction
  • Bane of Doom does its damage too late. should be each 15 seconds
  • Bane of Doom counts as Curse and not as bane
  • Soulswap doesn't take & remove the dots

    Demonology
  • Demon leap & Immolation Aura won't work
  • Demonic Circle: Teleport doesn't work.
  • Fel armor does not heal the 3% damage when doing single target damage
  • Hand of Gul'dan does not apply the 10% crit hit aura
  • Soul Link does not apply the buff to the caster nor pet.

    Destruction
  • Bane of Havoc does apply but does not do 15% of the damage done
  • Shadowburn does not work.

ImageWarriors

    Arms
  • Sudden Death does not reset the cooldown of Colossus Smash when it procs
  • Improved Hamstring has no cooldown.

    Fury
  • Can't learn Blood Craze.

    Protection
  • Can't learn Impending Victory

Paladin-
Judging with Seal of light is not giving the 15% base mana back
Not sure what is wrong with Wog exactly but I am able to use it

Mage-
Arcane Missile proc does not have a count down timer and the ability to use missiles doesn't disappear til it is used
Brain freeze is not triggering til on hit so standing at max range I can get double frostfire bolt off before I lose my proc

Will add more if I come across them

1-Master Marksman is bugged, you cat get 5 stacks but Aim shot is aint instant.
2-Aspect of the fox is bugged, big time when got hited with mele spells it remove's himself
3-Detterence is bugged to, warriors are hamstring me troe him, rogu's are ambushing me, one DK even grip me ...

Arms Warrior talent "Sudden Death" does not reset cooldown of Colossus Smash when it procs

Also the talent "Improved Hamstring" roots the target on the first application and has no cooldown so you can root somebody several times in a row

I have a geared warrior on retail with only 6% crit. Base crit has gone way down for every class in cata. You get bonus crit from talents. This is why warriors are (or were, i havent played in a while) gearing for expertise, there is almost nothing else worth stacking on retail.

Tidal Waves - completely doesn't proc (this is huge for shamans)

Fulmination - doesn't do the lightning shield orb damage when over 3 lightning shield stacks when you earth shock (it doesn't consume them or do the damage)

*Lava Flows - Doesn't proc the lava burst reset on cool-down

*Glyph of life stream totem - doesn't give the resistances bonus

Thank you for your report. I've tested the shamans myself but forget to see if all procs & talents worked.

Talents and procs are like 50% of a class =p

Rogues smoke bomb still doesnt work, im assuming all bugs are the same as ruin, so glyph of hemmorage wont work, aswell as half the talents, to bad i have to get 100 honor to test out a glyph

Don't make that assumption. When we were testing, only the bugs listed at the top appeared. Obviously, it was a good idea to make it a PTR.

Agreed, people tend to keep the 'good' bugs for themselves but that's why we have helpers which do extensive testing with legit results. :dance:
