I'm currently programming all of the perks that VIP members will receive, if you have any suggestions for other commands or perks, feel free to discuss it here.

The current list of commands I've given VIPs are:

• .vip bank - Bank anywhere.
• .vip repair - Repair everything for free.
• .vip extra - Gives a mount, pet, costume buff, and a title.
• .vip food - Gives the player some refreshments.
• .vip resettalents - Reset your talents.
• .vip hearth - Hearths you with no cooldown.
• .a - A server announce command reserved for players with a tag. VIPs get the [VIP] tag.

The list of perks VIPs get:

• Automatically revive with 100% hp/mp.
• Moved to the top of the priority list when making tickets. (VIP tickets get answered before non-VIP)

By the way, I'm trying to keep the commands and perks as useful as possible without giving them too much power or a direct advantage over other players. Keep that in mind when posting suggestions, please!

Another idea is a portable mailbox command, I know there is already a portable mailbox in game but meh

When will this be put in place you think? And if you can add .demorph or make it so we dont turn undead when we go to vip area it is very annoying.

Hmm, I'll think about the command to open the pig vendor. But I don't see a point in adding a command for the portable mailbox if it's already ingame.

When we release Remorse v1.5 (which will be soon, sometime this week). Also, turning into an undead upon entering the vip area is a known bug, it will be fixed.

This isn't directly related to the VIP Commands, but I guess that the VIP Area could be re-designed a bit, to be more attractive so we want to spend time there. Maybe add the vendors and some cool visual stuff ? It's pretty empty at the moment.

Regarding commands, that's a pretty good idea. I'll post here if I come up with anything. How about a special VIP mount ? Nothing out of line, just something that's not in the shop.

You get VIP when you donate up to 20 dollars or more to the server.

That's basically what I'm thinking of. Vip are should definitely be redesigned somehow or something should added to be more attractive for people that spend money. Also availability to mount should be added.

The VIP mount idea is a nice one. What did you have in mind?

Maybe the Celestial Steed or Invincible ? They should have been introduced in Patch 3.3, as far as I know.

Please do NOT do the .vip explore..... I spent almost 3 days of play time getting my Explorer acheivement... it's not fair to give it to people for free... I am also a donor and find the rest of your commands to be useful and fair..

Just please, you are giving others an advantage of not having to work for one of their achievements. (one of the only achievements that is as hard to get here as it is on retail)


By the way.. the above statement only applies if you're putting these commands on Redemption... please let me know if this is a plan.

Initially, this will be applied to Remorse only for testing purposes. After that, it will be applied to all realms.

As for the explorer achievement, 99% of the Eternal-WoW population don't care about it. The explore command is a nice convenience for VIPs.

I can guarantee anyone that does have it does care about it, but obviously you don't give a damn about me or anyone else that does have it. Being a donor, I thought I’d have a little more respect from you than just "who cares". You also don't seem to understand my point of view. Try to think about what my point of view on this issue could be. It's obvious you're taking away the time and work I put towards that achievement.

I implore you to go for the achievement yourself on a clean map; it’s not exactly easy to do. Do you know how many people would get pissed off if you just went and made a command for a full set of t10? Or for a Black War Bear? Or any other thing that takes time to do in this game?

This action of yours makes me consider never accomplishing anything else on this server, from here on out I’ll have the constant fear of you just handing it out for nothing later on.

Edit: Here is an alternative that shouldn't be that hard to code. Have .vip mapon and a .vip mapoff commands. The mapon command will activate the full map while at the same time locking the achievement from being gained. .vip mapoff will deactivate the full map and let the achievement be gained.

Just take it in to consideration man -.-.

Handing out gear is an irrelevant comparison because that would certainly have a direct effect on gameplay. A title, however, isn't a big deal at all. Why should I refrain from giving all of the other VIP members the perks they deserve? Because you won't be the only one with a title? That's not a very compelling argument.

EDIT: After some thought, I'll be removing the explore command due to there already being countless addons with fully explored zones. As a plus, players with the explorer title get to stay special.
