Horde Leveling Guide

Disclaimer: This guide leaves out ALOT of detail and is only a very basic outline of a leveling road I like to take. The reason for this is to leave to the fun and guess work the makes lvling what it is. All detail can be found by using what little intelligence is needed to play WoW in general. Also any suggested item purchases are ONLY a suggestion. Not required to make leveling possible just to make it faster and bearable for those whom don't like to take forever to do it. But don't forget to enjoy the game and the stuff you get to do at lower levels. ALSO it's allot easier to level a profession or 2 along the way so you don't have to go back to all these areas again and farm the mats. On a final note, don't flame/hate/or leave negative responses... Thanks

Well folks, I'm Athina and I'm guna post a simple leveling guide because I find people often ask "Where do I go from here?" Well here is a simple leveling guide for levels 1-80 based on tested preferences. Yes these are preferred by me but with there being about 9 different ways to go about it, I find these to work best. Feel free to add feed back and anything I may have missed. (keep all trolling and bs to your selves) All info can be found on ( http://old.wowhead.com ) Now this isn't an exact step by step 300 page guide to leveling a toon. If your too lazy to research information, it's best you didn't play wow.

At level 1 in the starting area, talk to Winston and do the "Prelude to Prosperity" quest. This will take you straight to level 11, and skip you through the first 10 boring levels and straight to the good stuff. At this point do quests in a major city, by questing and grinding mobs you will be able to hit lvl 14. Thunder bluff has Harpies which work well for simple grinding if you some how run out of quests in the major cities. If not there then the Dead Scare near Silvermoon City has plenty to offer =D

By level 14, you just about ready to make the trip to the Barrens! Fastest way is to of course portal to Wailing Caverns, but you can't do that till lvl 15 or so. So you can either run from Orgrimmar or Thunderbluff but your goal here is to get to the Crossroads. You can quest and level in Crossroads till approx. level 17-19 depending on your determination to finish every quest in the area.

Now at level 18ish your free to roam to Camp Tararjo from here you can quest and grind to lvl 25 (you can also make your way to Ashenvale, but that would be counter productive w/o EVERY flight path back to Camp T due to the fact this guide keeps moving you south. Once you pick your way... quest travel and grind your way to 25. At 25 we shall be moving further south on the Golden Road. Don't for get to get your first ground mount at level 20 =D

At level 25 You will be making the trip down to Thousand Needles, to the lil village of Freewind Post. Here you will begin to quest and grind your way to 32. There are quests in the north west part of thousand needles as well to help keep the XP coming. From here there is plenty to do so keep up the good work. Remember it's best to also be leveling a profession by now, so you can farm while leveling to simplify the process.

Here at level 32 you've likely killed a few hours and may have forgotten to go train ALL you class skills to this point and if you have extra gold go make sure to by some new fancy gear and or weps for melee classes. Make life allot easier but I would say never spend more then 200g at a time for the low level greens (aka 200 gold for all your gear at one time aka 30-50 max per piece)

Alrighty folks now that we have trained and got the new shiny metal beating stick, let go test that bad boy on some new flesh =D. By level 32 your normally ready for the Shimmering Flats. the quests are all the south east in a place known as "Mirage Raceway" Here you can happily quest and grind to 35-38. By that point You once again have 2 choices. Grind to 40, or take a trip to Stranglethorn. Either way by 40 I prefer to take my questing to Gadgetzan in Tanarus. In Gadgetzan, also in the NE part of Tanarus there is a town called Steamweedle Port. Between these 2 there is enough questing to get your toon to 48-50. All in all Tanarus is a easy way to grind to 50 where you will be moving onto Un' Goro Crater.

Here there is a camp called Marshal's Refuge. This is the primary place for quests in the area and where 90% of the working ones are anyway. This place is semi self explanatory where if you fallow your map, your likely to be just fine. More or less do as many quests in the camp as you can and you'll hit 56-58 where I suggest going to Silithus.

Silithus is the final area in Kalimdor you will quest before going into the Outland at 60. I suggest it because at 60 you can buy the Tier 1-3 gear and that makes outland a shit load easier... where here is still simple enough to live without. Do a few of the quests here and 60 is easily yours. Note the hives have those pesky wasps that hurt allot so if you can avoid I suggest it. Now at this point there are various quests in the area well spread out. Hunt them down and finish them for your lvl 60 and new shiny gear =)

Now that we are all bad ass and lvl 60, lets see about getting our Tier 1-3 (which ever you want more) and do ALL our training. At this point you have fresh epics and shiny new weapons, or at least you can get them, not required but tends to help allot. you are ready for Outland and off to hellfire peninsula you go =) (Note: you can get there from any major city via a portal) Once in Hellfire Peninsula, you will be questing here and directly to the south, and a tad to the east you will also quest in spinebreaker camp... Due east from Expedition Armory. Between the 2 you will hit 65-67 which means you can quest in Zangarmarsh (suggested to hit 67 if you didn't already) or Nagrand.

Zangarmarsh till 67 as stated above, due to ease of NPC's in the area. Then at 67 off to Nagrand! Here you will find quests in the "Throne of the Elements" this is the easy way to hit 68 almost 69 where the bugged quest line in the Laughing Skull Ruins, The ring of blood quests... will get you clear to 70 with no effort at all.

Now that your at level 70, Time to head off to Northrend to grind at the slowest 10 levels this version of wow has to offer =) Ohh what a joy it is. Now PLEASE do all your training up to this point for it is imperative to have it done. Now go to the howling fjord, here you will find an easy list of quests that have minimal difficulty for maximum XP outcome. Also at this point if you feel you want to by your Tier 4-6 gear go for it. Start at the high executioner and work your way around. From here there are 2 other areas to go to for more quests, Apothecary Camp & Camp Winterhoof. This should get you to lvl 73 or so and we can move onto Grizzly Hills.

In Grizzly Hills, Conquest hold is your finest bet to get a whole slew of quests that will likely get you to 75 or 76. Grizzled Maw has a couple you can do but just explore the areas as you quest, you'll find plenty to do =)

From here it's a fine idea to move on to Zul' Drak, Here there are a few areas I like to quest in. Argents Stand and Lights Breach and the surrounding areas are my preferred places to be. This should take you to around lvl 77 and plenty ready for the last area.

From here Ye Ol' Scholazar Basin is the place to be. the Nesingwary Base Camp is where the vast majority of the quests are to be had. There are quests in the lake towards the lake in the middle of the zone. From here just explore and quest, there is plenty to hit 80. Also if you have a couple strong 80 friend there are a few quests in Icecrown you find from the NPC in the ICC graveyard. Those can take out a full lvl if you find a way to not hit 80. Congratulations, your finally done... Now go farm POS/FOS for gear!

Best Regards,
Athina
