Alright, I've decided to finally make a guide for the 10,000 posts asking how to donate without a credit card. Hopefully this will get alot of attention or will get stickied. Anywho let's begin, here is an example of a prepaid credit card. It isn't actually a credit card though because with a credit card the bank pays for what you buy then you pay the bill at the end of the month. However this is basically a plastic card of cash.


Make sure it says Vanilla or else it won't work online. I've used a prepaid mastercard before but it gave me a TON more trouble with paypal. Now, once you buy your prepaid visa card, you must first go and make a new email account, Don't ask me why but i always have more success with a brand new email and paypal. Then go to

And follow the instructions to activate your card, stay logged in here and keep your card nearby, now go and create a paypal account and add the card as a new credit card on the account. It will then ask you to activate it and it will charge your prepaid card a dollar and you login to the visa website, on the charge summary itll show you a 4 digit number next to a bunch of xxxxx's and paypal will guide you through this, after this is finished and you have the number go back to paypal and activate the card, paypal will then reimburse the dollar to your account and you have 20 dollars or whatever on your paypal account. Now go to eternal-wow, purchase VIP, login to paypal and you'll have purchased the VIP points, make sure to watch the amount you buy and how much you have left on your card because as the credit card is slow to charge, if you overcharge it, you will get the VIP points but then paypal will overcharge and talk to the visa website which will then bill eternal-wow and you'll be granted a nice permanent ban ( no it has not happened to me but i know about the overcharging because I've done this with Itunes as well and it doesn't end well.)

So there is the guide on how to use prepaid credit cards on paypal, I have done it with over 10 different credit cards, vanilla visa works the best and you can find them at CVS, supermarkets, or anywhere that sells cards.

Buy Vanilla Visa giftcard
Create Email account, yahoo works for me cause it's quick
Activate Visa card,(Usually just entering ZIP code) https://www.vanillavisa.com/home.html?product=giftcard&csrfToken=
Create or login to your paypal account
Add the Visa card and let paypal charge a dollar
Check for the charge on the visa website above
Enter the code on paypal

Nice guide man, I`ve donated in the past with a pre-paid card too.

I willl move your post to guide section because it`s an excellent guide to the people who don`t have a credit or debit card.

It is an excellent guide, but it's much simpler to pay through a donate button without a paypal account, or through a western union pay button once again without an account setup. This way you don't lose the 1-2$ fee that paypal charges you just to add your card to paypal and you donate more.
