From the beginning of my time on any forum, I always had a thing for making guides. Even though there are already guides on things, I even like to make a guide on how to find things better and adding it all together. For almost all WoW private servers I have played on (The most recent was WoWscape, which was closed about half a year ago), I made a guide explaining everything and where you can find things if you have any trouble.
In this guide there will be everything that I can find on Eternal Wow. There might be some things that are not included in this guide, as I might have forgotten them or they still need to be added. I will try by best on making this guide and also on improving this guide after it has been finished. You can say that this guide is never finished, as things are always changing.
Please don't rant in this forum, as only constructive critisism or useful information is wanted. People that rant, flame or troll, are being ignored and possibly reported. (I don't report that quick, I'm an easy going guy) Also, people that say there are already guides about this, I do not really care. I like to make these kind of things, please complain somewhere else or send me a private message. This is a guide, keep that in mind.
Please, if any information is incorrect, misplaced, any grammar is what you think is wrong, please tell me so.

1. Eternal Wow
Eternal Wow has four servers, please look at them below.
1a. Eternal Server
Name Eternal Server
Version 3.3.5
Rate Instant 80
Information
This is the Eternal server. An instant level 80 rated server. You spawn in a place for both Alliance and Horde where you can buy basic equipment, skills are much more. There are dummies to test your DPS on. You start with 5000 gold coins and are able to do instances and arena matches. Please make sure that you are fully equiped and skilled for this server, as everyone is as good as you can be.
1b. Redemption Server
Name Redemption Server
Version 3.3.5
Rate 10x
Information
This is the Redemption server. This is a Blizzlike server. You can just play like the blizzlike server, but with a 10 times higher rate. You can do a quest that immediatly makes you level 11. (You have to read the information about the Redemption server. You get a bag, food and 35 gold coins) You could also teleport to Dalaran, a place where you can buy a lot of items for gold. I wouldn't recommend this and just level the way you are suppose to level. The fastest way to level is with quests, just do every quest you can do and then move on to the next area. You should be able to do the next set of quests in every village or town, as your level is a bit higher than usual.
1c. Remorse Server
Name Remorse Server
Version 3.3.5
Rate 255 fun server
Information
You start in Hyjal with a level 1 character. It's a 255 fun server, but you don't become instantly level 255. You have to work for it. You have to defeat monsters as you go trough Hyjal. You can buy items at where you first spawn in Hyjal. Please bare in mind that you can't PVP here, that's very important. You can duel there. You level quite quickly, but I have tried it too. It was pretty boring, but that's my personal opinion.
1d. Exile Server
Name Exile Server
Version 3.3.5
Rate 30x PVP
Information
This is a 30x rate PVP server. You level a bit faster as a blizzlike server. As this is a PVP server, there won't be any PVEing.
2. Connecting to Etneral Wow
Please look at these parts of information on how to connect to Eternals WoW servers 3.3.5 and 4.0.6.
Connecting to WoW 3.3.5
- 1. Download Word of Warcraft
Version 4.0.6
1. Download uTorrent
2. Install uTorrent
3. Download 4.0.6 here.
4. Open the Torrent with uTorrent.
5. Download maybe take about 8 hours with 1MB internet speed.
6. After downloading the 4.0.6 world of wacraft version, please check this guide on how to patch your world of wacraft, by using the Skyfire Updater.
2. Edit your realmlist.wtf file
Your realmlist.wtf file is listed by default in: C:/Program files/World of Wacraft/Date/EN(GB)/realmlist.wtf
Change it into:
set realmlist logon.eternal-wow.com
3. Create an account
You can create an Eternal WoW account here.
4. Double Click
Double click on the WOW.EXE, NOT the launcher!
5. Login
Login with your USERNAME, NOT with your e-mail.
As some of you might not know, Eternal World of Warcraft works without downloading the Eternal World of Wacraft launcher. Some can't install it (like me), some can't even download it. You just need adjust your realmlist and create and account to login.
3. Troubleshooting World of Wacraft
If you have any problems connecting to Eternal World of Warcraft, please go down this list and theck if there is anything wrong with your World of Warcraft. If there is nothing on the list that can help you, than you might be able to make a thread about your particular problem and people will help you the best they can.
These solutions MIGHT work
- - Do you have installed a full Version of World of Warcraft? Download 3.3.5 here or 4.0.6 here.
- Do you have the right version for the server? 3.3.5 or 4.0.6?
- Is your realmlist set to
set realmlist logon.eternal-wow.com
- (OPTIONAL) Have you downloaded the launcher? (Launcher is not needed to play the game)
- Have you used the WOW.EXE to start your game? (DON'T USE THE WOWLAUNCHER!)
- Is the server online? Please check the upper right corner on the homepage.
- Are you logging in with your USERNAME? NOT your e-mail?
- Are there any announcements about your particular server? Check that here.
4. Redemption - Starting up and Tips
Someone asked in the redemption forum if someone could give him some pointers on how to make a start on this realm. That gave me an idea on making a guide about how to start with your redemption character. Some might have some problems with making guild (I have the same problem, so there won't be many tips about making gold), where to level a character, where to get your first gear and so on.
1a. Creating a character and leveling
As you have created any character of any race or faction, you start off with a butler. A butler is an NPC that explains some basics about the Redemption realm. He also gives you 35 gold, a 22 slot back and 40 food for health and mana. To get these items, you have to listen to everything he says. Just click on the first line, read everything, go to the main menu and go to the second line. Do this for all of the lines and you will get your items. What the butler also does when you have completed this simple task, is that you will become level 11. This will immediatly give you the opportunity to go to the second village, where you can do better quests to level yourself.
This is the start for every character you make.
The Butler
As you have reached the second village, you should be able to train more skills with your 35 gold and level up some more with doing quests. I'm really sorry, but I have not played any alliance characters and I will probably never will. That is why I only have a horde leveling guide and no alliance leveling guide. Maybe I will make this in the future, but that will most likely not happen.

1b. Becoming level 80 and getting some gear
Before you grind your gear, you might want to find a great guild to do the instances we discuss next. As you might want to go fast on this, a good guild is most of the time a requirement. You need trust and with random parties, you aren't getting anywhere.
Also, you might not be able to afford T7. This is all together, with 5 pieces, worth 5000 gold. Also, Expert Flying costs 5000 gold and flying in northrend costs 1000 gold. This all togethers makes T7 and Flying 16000 gold.
When you become level 80, it should not be so hard to get gear that you want. The easiest way to get gear is to do PIT of SARON. I have also made a guide about that instance, you can see that guide here. When you are doing pit of saron, you are getting 2 emblems of triumphs everytime you kill a boss. When you have killed enough bossed and you have about 35 to 75 emblems of triumphs, you are able to get gear with the triumph seller. Please check the map bellow as where you can get this gear for horde and alliance.
Important note: All weapon and armor sellers are Emblem of Triumph and Emblem of Frost sellers for T8. (I think it is T8, always get confused when it gets to armor. It's pretty good, but ICC is better.
When you have all your gear for pit of saron and trust me, this will take you about 3 to 5 days for the full gear, you can go to Ice Crown Citadel. Phalanx13, another forum moderator, made a guide about this instance. You can check that guide here.
1c. Getting gold
Getting gold is pretty hard if you really don't know how. I have made my gold with friends, grinding and selling a lot of stuff. The best things you can do are listed here, but if you really want to make some gold, you really have to go into one thing.
- Grinding monsters
- Selling POS, FOS, VOA, TOC and ICC gear
- Get a profession and focus on it. Blacksmithing, enchanting, jewelcrafting or inscription are all great professions.
- Donate

5. Thank you
Thank you for reading my guide. It's not really finished, as people can leave feedback on what I have made and how to improve on this guide. Please leave some feedback, as I would have it much appreciated. I would like to improve this guide on having it help more people with Eternal World of Warcraft.
