Status: Update Complete!

Ask, and you shall most likely receive. Our instant-80 PvP realm, Eternal, has been undergoing considerable changes based on player feedback that we've gathered in the forums over the last few months. We recognize the heavy gear differences between Arena-goers and non-Arena-goers, and we're interested in a more leveling playing field with skill being more important than gear.

For this main reason, several big changes are happening to the Eternal realm, and are now currently implemented on our PTR realm for testing:

• New! New Badge of Eternal Conquest costs are now implemented on the vendors in Halaa. The Arena Rating requirements are now 1650+, 1800+, and 2000+. Two new "Bag of Badges" have been added that contain 3 or 5 badges in each bag.
• New! Eternal's first-ever Hunter Pet Farm has been added to the Eternal Gateway, allowing Hunters to teleport to an area where many basic animals can be trained in order to set up and get PvPin' a little bit faster. Special/rare pets will still need to be found in the wild. Eternal Gateway > Mall > Hunter Pet Farm (visible to Hunters only)!
• New! Various commendation badges that give reputation are now available on Capo in the Event Chamber, and the costs of the fun items on Capo have been reduced to reflect the below changes.
• The Arena Season will be reset. All players will start at 0 rating, and win-trading teams will be deleted religiously every Sunday before the arena flush on Monday morning.
• Honor cap has been increased from 75,000 to 375,000 (5 x 75,000).
• Honor gain has been reduced from 3x to 2x.
• Deadly Gladiator (Season 5) has been removed, and Furious Gladiator (Season 6) is now free.
• Mall vendor prices have been altered to make Season 6-ish gear free as well.
• Relentless Gladiator gear now only requires honor.
• Elder Robinhoof is spawned in Halaa and all 4 Alliance and Horde malls to tell players more specific details about the new changes to Halaa.
• A new currency - Badge of Eternal Conquest - is now available. Badges of Eternal Conquest can be purchased at the vendors in Halaa for honor points. 68,200 honor will buy 1 Badge, with cheaper costs available to players with higher arena rating (>1650, >1750, and >1800). Badges of Eternal Conquest can purchase 3/5 pieces of the Wrathful Gladiator armor, all Wrathful Gladiator ilevel 264 weapons, all Wrathful Gladiator offset armor, and all Tier 10.264. Wrathful Gladiator ilevel 277 weapons, helms, and shoulders will still require Arena Rating and Arena Points.
• Wrathful vendors at Halaa are only visible to the faction that has conquered it.
• A daily quest has been added to Halaa to allow Halaa Battle Tokens to be converted into the new Badges of Eternal Conquest.
• Some fixes to existing vendors have been done, such as "Deprecated" glyphs removed, useless Prismatic gems removed, some special mounts on Hemogoblin <Shaggin' Wagons> now cost honor, badges, or arena points, and several other fixes have been applied to clean things up.

Exile
The Exile realm will be shutting down this weekend on Sunday the 18th. All players who have donated on Exile will receive 100% of their V.I.P. points per request. Simply make a ticket on any realm and a GM can verify you and assist you.

New Event
Our Architect, Arlaa, has been busy with a new "Guild vs Guild" or "Faction vs Faction" type of event based inside Azshara Crater, an unfinished Blizzard battleground similar to Alterac Valley. The approach Arlaa is taking is direct and conclusive. With only a few NPCs for guiding newcomers on where to go and what to do, the event will be centered around the two teams and how well they can strategize to eliminate their opposition. There will be no reviving with a spirit healer. If you die, you're out. Guild vs Guild tournaments anyone? More details coming soon!

I can finally not be honor capped within a few BGs, so now it will be less boring.

Relentless Gladiator gear now only requires honor.

Finally, no more having to do arena every week to get relentless.

This seems interesting, because it would require the factions to continually fight over who controls Halaa

Arena points are always deleted during a season reset, even on Blizz.

or else the arena reset will be a fail and lots of people will nerdrage.

Best realm Exile is shutting down. Wonderful. All the work I've spent doing on there...wiped out.
For all those Eternal and Redemption people out there, *sigh*...Exile had the most potential but people have never recognized it.
And I seriously wonder why the vote points aren't returned. I spent time on voting you know.

When you buy gear with honor and get the ability to refund it within an hour, if you refund it with honor above 75k it comes up with a message saying all honor will be lost above 75k, is the message a bug or does it actually reset it to 75k??
