Update: The launcher now auto grabs the Cataclysm patch. You don't need to even think about it. Modifying guide as such.
Ok, the Eternal-WoW Launcher is now back in full business! We highly recommend you use it. It auto updates to new versions again like back in the day. If you already have the old one, you may have to actually uninstall it first, to get a proper install on the new one.

Launcher instructions can always be found here, but I will go ahead and paste here for your convenience:

• Download the eternal launcher from here.
• Install the launcher. A shortcut will be in the start menu.
• The launcher will ask for where your WoW.exe is (or for Cataclysm, Eternal-WoW.exe), give it the location and...
  Click on Play WoW!

By the way, the Launcher now works with Cataclysm. Make sure to download the patched exe in step 2 above. If you wish to play WOTLK *and* Cataclysm, you'll have to add a second server listing in the launcher with the plus button, so that both WOTLK and Cata will point to your proper game folders, like so:

to get the server added like the picture at the top of this post.

When you click play for the first time, it will patch your client for you, like this:

I wonder about the cache. When i switch sever between Redemtion and Remorse i have to delete the cache first. does the Launcher delete it for me, or do i have to delete it as before?

As someone mentioned above, that's what the 'Erase Cache' button is for.

Although the language it's written in supports Mac, it would require a lot of work and figuring out paths and such on Mac. And I don't have a Mac, so it makes learning about these things a bit difficult and testing impossible. So not for the foreseeable future.

Although the language it's written in supports Mac, it would require a lot of work and figuring out paths and such on Mac. And I don't have a Mac, so it makes learning about these things a bit difficult and testing impossible. So not for the foreseeable future.

For testing in a mac, you can use vmware fusion.

Hi guys im new, i have downloaded the 16gig wow client through the walkthrough, however when trying to play my client does not patch, as well as when i log into the Eternal wow ad when i log into the server and it auto patches But i get an error to restart and auto patch, is there any way around this so i could play?

First, check your game version. for patchs check http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors download there and apply your wow.

you need to have 2 wow folders:
1. You can download (3.3.5a pacth) ready to go client from here.
2. When you have downloaded it, copy it to another directory in your hard disc.
3. Update 1 of those folders using the launcher until 4.0.6 patch and done.
4. Make sure of stopping at 4.0.6. Don`t download 4.1.0 pacth or you will have to download another file to downgrade to 4.0.6
5. Set the realmlist of your 1st and 2nd wow to:

6. Log in and have fun.
