How it works:

Simply by adding to the wiki! Your contributions will be evaluated by the staff. You will be rewarded according to the quality, amount of effort involved, and amount of contributions made.

[*] Adding a new guide/article

[*] Updating/Improving/Correcting information

[*] Creating templates (Useful ones)

[*] Creating catagories, category trees/ re-categorizing articles.

[*] Reporting abuse




What is the reward?

Depending on the amount, quality, and type of contribution you could earn:

1-150 Vote Points!
and/or
1-10 VIP!!

Users contributions will be checked every 2 weeks.

How long will it last?

The greatest part about this incentive program is that it will be running indefinitely! If the time should come for the program to come to an end everyone will be given notice.

I went to the wiki and tried to add a guide but when i open each links in main page i cant enter? It tells the webpage not available.
Any help or guide? Is it a wiki problem or i just have this prob??

I just checked from a normal account and everything looks fine. It is pretty easy to make a new page, all you need to do is log in on the wiki and then change the URL address to create a new page.

Example: http: //wiki.eternal-wow.com/index.php/Page Name Here

Then simply press enter and it creates a new page. From there you can customize the page to suit whatever type of page you plan to make.

Nice, however, would it be possible to increase the log-out time on the wiki a little? I just lost my first post because I took to long to post (note to self: next time write it in word).

I really hate to sound noobish, but I can't create a new page. I log-in, try to change the address in the address bar to create a new page, and I can't type anything. I can highlight the text to be changed, I can copy/paste anywhere but the address bar of the window the wiki is in, but anything I try to do to the address in the address bar in the window the wiki is in, I end up slaming into a brick wall.....

Id love to help out but i dont really know much about editing a wiki. Do you guys have a clean up guy that can fix errors and make pages findable without knowing the exact link?

Same here, can't login. I type in my username and password(it's the one used to login in-game and on the website, right?) and "Login error
You are not a member of the required Website (forum) group."

oh, when trying to create an account:
"You do not have permission to create this user account, for the following reason:
The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: Administrators."

I for one don't see myself as an admin anywhere in the near future.

Already made 8 pages or so, esp. boss guides. Gonna be adding a few dozen pages or so within the next day (since I was busy at work earlier).

I'm still getting the hang of it, as I'm not an expert in these things, but hey, thumbs up for the effort I guess?

Browsing some Wiki-editing guides just to make things look nicer on the eyes.

Could it be possible the Wiki has problems with the people that cant log in because of there account names. They both have a "_ " in there name... I dont think that is a real coinsidence, although someone that is part of the staff should confirm it.

Why arent you part of that staff yet? You would fit right in. You are a pretty helpful guy most of the time.

Because I resigned. I used to be part of the staff. And being part of the staff (forum mod that is) gives nothing extra, only more jerks not appreciating what people do. So I would rather have a little more freedom.

Yeah people seem to forget GMs and mods and everything are regular people just like them, they expect too much. Everything you do or say is criticized. I imagine it would get old pretty fast. Seems like a job that would cause heavy drinking.
