Im 20 years of Age, Have been playing WoW since the very start...Also tried my hands at running a server alongside the StonedRaiders team..Was great fun, Learnt alot Client side and Server side. . .Just wish i had the time to run one as good as this.

I've Noticed the lack of GM's during my play time of Eternal Wow and would be more than welcome to help out... Brilliant server, great concept on BOTH realms. Also spent the last week or two getting to know the community on Eternal Wow, Everyone is helpful, Barely anyone gets left to wonder...

Another thing i might add is that im surrounded by WoW Nerd's and Useful information that players may be asking in game is like a second nature to me (sadly lol), As for gameplay .. i general keep myself to the evening shifts (PEAK TIME) so with that in mind, i will be able to serve a pretty Flexible GM shift that works for Peak Hours.

Anyways, Keep up the good work.

May sound like a dumb question but, how do I apply? Some quick tidbits; I am an Independant contractor so I can make MY own hours with work. When I'm not working I'm on Eternal-wow servers (Primarily Redemption). When it comes to being a player vs being a staff member, I can be hot headed as a player, because thats my own character's reputation, but in a staff position I would be Level Headed, never ending patience, and careful because I'd be representing the GM community and wouldn't want to make em hated even more by players...... JK, On my days off i have no life so i play maybe 18 hours ingame. and another question.... as GM would I have a specific character on the account a GM or would the whole account become converted? If it converts the whole account nevermind cause I like to play with people and raid with friends. I got a headset, Was born October 17th 1989 (20 years old), I've been playing (Eternal-wow) for about a month now (9 years total for all mmorpgs ive played) so the time played might be an issue, and my job is customer service based, so i'm used to being asked repetitive questions.

As a former administrator, I feel inclined to agree with our more reputable users on this forum, particularly Cyph3r and Dominic.

Having hired several GMs in the past on behalf of a server of comparable size and diversity, I can understand the wisdom behind their decision to place an age requirement on applicants. The fact remains that the vast majority of children lack the education, elocution and, more importantly, cultural awareness that is necessary to perform a satisfactory job as a GameMaster. So many of the applications I read were replete with terrible grammar and ignorant claims such as "I want to .kill all of those *expletive* people in arena." I am sure I speak for the staff of Eternal-WoW when I say that they also find it amusing, and not to mention disconcerting, that people honestly believe such foolishness qualifies them for a position. In order to truly qualify for a position, you must be able to not only understand the nuances that distinguish a culture, but also to accept and embrace how different societies engender views which may seem foolish to you. Any erudite individual can clearly ascertain the difference between a competent applicant and one of dismal quality.

My advice to the young people interested in becoming a GameMaster: remember that while age may only seem "but a number" to you, it truly connotes your level of maturity and intellectual development. While I am aware that such a statement will inevitably elicit denunciations from those lacking maturity, the fact remains that psychological research supports my assertion. Understand the wisdom of your elders and embrace Dominic's perspective. Whether or not you agree with him, psychology supports his assertions. If you ever feel the need to independently verify this, feel free to visit the American Psychological Association (http://www.apa.org) and I welcome you to challenge us with factual evidence that contradicts our mutual belief.

Take pride in your youth. Enjoy it while it lasts. Don't be so eager to be at the beck and call of society, for it is the burden our GameMasters graciously embrace on our behalf.

I really do enjoy the quality of service this server provides and I enjoyed collaborating with the staff here in order to rectify some issues I was experiencing in the past. It seems that young people these days forget their place in society. They forget that we too were once denied the benefits of adulthood as children; however, in retrospect, we, as adults, are able to understand that such limitations were wisely placed on us because we lacked the necessary competence to fulfill the societal roles we coveted ever so dearly.

Having been in your position for nearly 3 years as an administrator, I understand and respect the burden you have accepted on my behalf as a GameMaster and, in appreciation of this, I feel compelled to speak on your behalf. I apologize if I may have overstepped my authority in my previous post.

My name is Andrew...Or Wamba in-game....
1. Almost 20; born 02/12/1990
2. Not long just 3 days. (not an advantage for me but I`m a quick learner how things work around here)
3. I`m playing WoW about 4 years now(2 years on retail)...I have a job but I'm my fathers employee so no problem here...I was once a GM on a private server for about 2 years to remember that I was a GM not a Developer `cause those things are clearly not for me...So as a GM I have experience on my side...
I'm avaible whenever needed...
I'm serious,competent,a good listener,helpfull with other fellow players and I like to help others.
On that private server I was what they called "Event Master" so I was in charge with all events during the day time,night and weekends...But not always there were events so most of the time I just solved tickets.
Important to remember is that I never abused my power one way or another. I know how thing work when you are in a Staff,beeing part of a comunity...The players (most of them 12 years old kids) they go like " OHH LOOK A GM .... Gold pls ? " Well not always but most of the time it's like this...And I got used to it and there's no problem in answering nice and polite.
4. I do posses a microphone.

@ L.E : I can be verry helpfull with some testing for the benefit of this comunity. I mean as a GM when I have some free time I can just run around Northrend or other zones in order to test quests/areas/creatures etc.

@ L.E 2: In case if you don't have an anti-hack sistem...The first reason that I was a GM was because I'm an anti-hack sistem...Nubs with Fly/Speed hack,exploiters I had a special pleasure to ban them

There are a lot of Gm applications where the players can lie about the age but they can be discovered when they have to talk at the mic on the chat with the others gms so being honest is the best choice I think

There are and maybe kids out there that have had more or less life experiences with World of Warcraft than say someone oh thats 25. They could have been playing longer. There is a kid thats in my college class that has been playing since he was 13 and he is 21
