Announcements from the staff

I have just coded a new "Lock Account" system. Locking your account will make your account accessible to your IP address ONLY. You cannot login to the server, or the website without having the same IP address as when the account was last logged in game. Locking your account is a secure and safe method to make sure you are the only one using your account. I recommend it for everyone that does not have their IP address regularly changed. In the case that you have locked your account and your IP address has changed, you may follow the "Forgot Password" process to reset your password and remove the lock. Please note that an Eternal-WoW Staff member will NEVER ask you for your password, so please keep this information private. It is also not recommended that you share an account with someone as we will not help you if something happens. I hope this makes everyone feel a little more secure about their account.

Let me know what you think

-Mike

Oh c'mon are you serious? Imo that's totally idiotic since wintraders and multiboxers can just easily get banned and that's the reason why you estabished this "Lock Account", right? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with dynamic IP adresses. They change every 12 hours so I'll have to recover my password like everytime I play, possibly even twice a day. Well these are just my thoughts I'm sure I cannot make you change your mind.

You guys dont understand that this is an OPTIONAL OPTION. If you read the post you should know that if your IP is dynamic, then simply don't lock your account

No Offense, but what's the sense of this then? xD Srsly do you think guys would hack accounts or something? I thought first the IP lock is forced for all accounts so guys wont be multiboxing or making loads of accounts to wintrade, but if it's optional I just don't get the sense
