It has come to our attention that ICC 25H has an exploit that makes it easier than it should be obtain top-level gear. While we have every intention of opening ICC 25H to our players on Redemption, we will need to make absolutely sure that loot is able to be earned fairly before the 25 Heroic version can stay open. All other difficulties will remain open.

We're looking forward to the next big PTR update (coming hopefully within the next week or two) when our staff will see to the status of ICC 25H and determine whether or not the instance can be re-opened.

I'm also happy to feed you a bit of insider information that Valrithia Dreamwalker will be scripted, along with a few bosses in Ruby Sanctum

So what is this exploit that you speak of ? We didn't use any exploits to do it, we did it fair and square

In the interest of providing info and clearing the air a bit..

First, our group (comprised of the guild + friends from another guild) - were able to kill and clear legit.

Now, below is mostly speculation:

-- Another guild on Horde, due to multiple wipes and frustration, attempted an abuse/glitch, that allowed them to bypass bosses that were harder and scripted.
Don't ask me how since I personally don't know how that is done, but suffice to say, that's all the talk I've heard about.

Example boss: Saurfang
Drops:
- Toskk Wristguards, Belt of Blood Nova, Bloodvenom Blade, Greatcloak of Turned Champion, Deathbringers Will
- Two Heroic Tokens

If you indeed see folks in Horde with these heroic items/or a SINGLE tier 10.5 item (remember, donors get five pieces t10.5) - there's a possibility they abused to get those.

ICC 25h is not a big deal for me i am not there yet, but i am excited to hear new encounters will be scripted. ^_^

There were a few issues that if known would have stopped the launch of 25/h. The main one was a way to get bosses to re-spawn after you did a clear.

It is indeed a very unfortunate thing to happen.

The greediness and obvious disregard of rules of a few people turned out to have a very negative effect on what has been one of the best challenges (and subsequent rewards) ever brought to us by the staff.

It is indeed a very unfortunate thing to happen.

i wished the staff removed all the icc gears of the groups as punishments, just as it happened to us months ago, probably only then that they will realized that it's not worth it to bug abuse icc instances.

i really don't get it, icc 25 is hard and a challenge but can't get the exploit explanation... 2 things are possible imo:

1. they found something to kill bosses in a easy way.. some bug abuse dunno but if there is bug abuse then i would have expected a rage message here and bans so not really possible?

2. they can skip lord and lady who are the hardest together with BQ but thats impossible since u can't attack saurfang or other bosses before u killed the other bosses, last 25 hc i did, there was server crash and 25hc got bugged after we killed lady and we got ported when tank hitted saurfang, same thing happens sometimes in 25...

so i really can't imagine what the exploit could be or am i missing something??

zzz my edit is gone k anyway if there is such an exploit why did we have to try 30 min to reset icc 25hc after server crashed and it got bugged? ow it didn't work btw what gm said we had to do :p so thats the weird thing...

This is what we need, people willing to test AND let us know whats bugged, instead of finding exploits and not saying anything.

It sucks when we release something then have to take it back because people wanted a way to exploit and didnt submit them.
