Super!!

I will be getting a refund on all my donated event trinkets. Not wasting VIP on half useful items.

wont discuss about the nerfing of the trinkets but i'd prefer that the "use:..." effect to be a "equip:..." effect

Why are you getting rid of the Eternal Fish Feast? Will there be another way to obtain it?

Instead of all the cheering, here is a more pessimistic interpretation of the changes.

Staff realised that events were lagging certain realms making them unplayable and actually being a waste of time for most part, since 60% of the people just stood there to get shards. This is a good thing.
So to make up for all the wasted time, anyone can now get the trinkets they wanted to be "special", realising that since mostly everyone has it, while should they even give and edge at all? So let's just make them pretty much useless, and downgrade them to the same level most ICC trinkets are, or rather were if they were available. You know for casters. Just don't know why anyone would would bother with the even trinkets anymore. Also, it's a great time to widen the gap between donors and non donors, cause...you know...shadowmourne was not enough of an advantage compared to what you can get as a non donor. (yeah yeah technically you could get shadowmounre, I've yet to see someone actually getting it ingame)

Oh and the great new payment methods were a perfect opportunity to introduce a bogus exchange rate "improvement" an find ways to actually make the net value of your donation less (stuff got more expensive). But hey, all this is done cause they care about us!

Are you retarded or did you just not bother to read anything, look into stuff for yourself and decide to make yourself look retarded?

If you are retarded I understand and will break this down for you..

If you are just lazy and think lying to prove your point is cool then I will be more than happy to help you leave this community forever.

Anyone has the ability to check what these companies charge... a simple Google shows you we are correct and honest.

Well the retarded part was cute, but it seems you don't bother to read. I'm not talking about what they charge or the methods at all, I was talking about certain items in the vip store of certain realms costing a little more points now then if you would convert it to the old point system. Great attitude there btw. Where did you read anything about what the systems charge? Where did I say anything about you lying? Where did I even accuse you of anything dishonest? FFS you are supposed to be the manager here and go off calling people retarded cause you THINK you read something that MIGHT have meant something it didn't? And you wanna ban me on an opinion? Really? Cause anything that is not my opinion in that post is fact. And no offense but YOU calling ME retarded is kinda funny.

Also, if you are talking about the transaction fee of this methods it's a whole other story, but again, where have I even mentioned that in my post? What in that post was aimed at you or any other staff member as an insult or anything else at all then my personal opinion about facts??? Hm?

EDIT: So again to make my point clear, I was talking in my original post about the ViP store's new point system, where I seemed to have notice that the new points (x100) did raise the dollar requirement for some items. However I play on several realms, checking several stores, so if it is not true for any items whatsoever on any realm and my statement was false in every way, then I apologize.
Again I did not mean the new new WAYS of donating, I know how a transaction fee works (even tough I'm "retarded" like you keep saying) and I know how that explains how some means are more expensive then others. But it does remain true that some simply are, which is in no way implying that you are doing any thing wrong.

My point still remains, attacking someone who has been nothing but helpful for quite a few months in the community and threatening with a ban for something you either didn't understand or misread? As the manager? You kinda owe me an apology.

The staff are just tired of repeating the same answers to the same questions over and over. Let's just look at this constructively.

Dante1417, what items have had a price increase in the VIP store? As I understood it, there would be 0 net price increase in the item cost. So this would be a legitimate concern. If anything costs more than 100x after conversion, that would require clarification by staff. If it's just the bigger numbers, that has been explained already.

Of course people will 'bother' with the event trinkets, even post-nerf. Making them less OP, but at the same time more accessible, is a welcome change. Looking for a caster trinket? Check current item of the month. Voting towards that myself.

Thank you for posting such detailed information on the changes. Please keep that up. Even if not everyone will like them, it really helps to prepare. The more advance notice players are given, the less they will feel bowled over by any possible nerfs etc. On the other hand more time to QQ.. :P Oh well

I have had concerns about an itemset costing 35 dollars before the change and 4000 points now. But again, it might be my memory failing me. but I still have a hard time seeing staff always concerned about how people act (and talk) towards them, yet to see the very same reaction from them. Kinda beats the whole point.

The sets were definitely 40$ before the change. The good news is that at the moment you can get them for 36 with the discount. So that's really close to the 35 you thought they were ;)

As to the to staff reacting a certain way, I can't speak for them. It's not my place. Personally, I don't usually feel like being nice to someone when they accuse me of things I haven't done. Especially if done in a nasty way.

Basically, don't throw shit around if you're not prepared to get your hands dirty ;)

Exactly right,

I am tired of people making stuff up, attacking us over stuff that is not true, not bothering to research or even read the thread they are posting on before responding with absolute crap.

No VIP items were increased in price, what it cost last week is what it will cost now.

Oh and the great new payment methods were a perfect opportunity to introduce a bogus exchange rate "improvement" an find ways to actually make the net value of your donation less (stuff got more expensive). But hey, all this is done cause they care about us!
This was the comment that i responded too about the fees they charge us.

See the attitude and attacks you make just in that one comment? You get what you give, you want to post like an ass expect to get it back at ya.

I think update is cool, but making only the trinkets less powerful than before isn't going to make balance in Eternal realm. If the Staff really want to make the server balanced they have to remove the Custom sets that not even exist at this Game making players un-killable or making them too hard to be killed by normal non-donated players. :!:

P.S. Hope to donators start flaming my comment

Again, don't see where I "attacked" you or the staff personally, and your reply had nothing to do with what I was describing (fair or not) . So let's just conclude this with simply me throwing this right back at you since it holds true:

I am tired of people making stuff up, attacking us over stuff that is not true, not bothering to research or even read the thread they are posting on before responding with absolute crap.

you didn't bother to read what I was talking about and

You get what you give, you want to post like an ass expect to get it back at ya.

The only difference is, you chose your "exposure" to this crap with the position you assumed as manager. Not to mention how you pretty much interpret an opinion as an attack. You don't have to like my rant or displeasure, hell you don't have to even read it. Was there some unhappiness behind the post? Yes. Should you care? I don't think so, everyone comments on the changes and how they feel about them, so what. But the fact remains that some methods of payment are more expensive then others, and I'm not implying it has anything to do with any of the staff members, it's a fact. I'm not saying you are making money out of the changes either. So next time you wanna reply "like an ass" (your words) you might want to check what you even reply to.

So here is my part of the apology, I did not intend to insinuate in ANY way that the staff or the server was damaging the players in any way with the changes. I don't think I have attacked you personally in any way, and I kept the my posts civilized. That can't be said about your posts. So now it's your turn to apologize.
