I know the Ventrilo server crashed last night and is still down today. I contacted the host of the ventrilo server and this is what I saw...



"In Dallas, TX, we were the target of a large DDoS Attack earlier. The data center has null routed the IP Address, so the normal IP & Hostname will not work to reach it. The IP Address will be null-routed for 24 hours. As such, we have brought everyone's Voice Servers up on a TEMPORARY IP ADDRESS. Once the null-route is released, we will schedule maintenance (most likely to happen within 24 hours of the null route being lifted) to restart the servers on their normal (permanent) IP Address.



We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during this DDoS Attack event."



They did give me a temporary IP address but I don't want to give it out as it will be swtiched back to the regular IP address tomorrow. I think we could all live without the Ventrilo Server for a day:roll:. I'll let you know when it's back up and running.
