VIP Store Changes

#1 by Cyph3r » Sat Mar 12, 2011 3:48 pm

We've recently added Moneybookers (Skrill) to the list of payment processors we accept. If you use a credit card, we prefer you do it through Moneybookers over PayPal. Also, PayPal has been disabled for international purchases outside of the USA, due to the rather problematic way PayPal deals with international purchases.

If you have any feedback about this, please do it here: "Which payment type(s) would you like added?"

Please note that we are considering adding all PayByCa$h providers soon, which notably includes, but isn't limited to: Ultimate Game Card, Paysafecard, Wallie, Ukash, and Boku (SMS).

Please note that we already take Visa Gift Cards through Moneybookers and PayPal, but you must follow the instructions on the card with regard to entering the address/phone of the gift card instead of your information for it to be successful. Also, we already take Western Union through an informal process. PM "sonicsun" on the forum if you must purchase this way.

Thanks Adrian for your work on Moneybookers!

Hello,
I am the billing manager for the server. I am interested in hearing opinions from users outside the USA who were effected by the store change. For those of you that live outside the USA, and prefer to use Paypal over Moneybookers or Alertpay, can you please explain why?

zDannYx: Why wouldn't you donate via Moneybookers instead?

Moneybookers and Alertpay both allow you to use a credit/debit card, or funds from a bank account.

I want paypal instead of moneybookers or whatever because I always pay online with paypal, and I feel comfortable with. In my opinion its the safest and no, I wont purchase any points with moneybookers. Its my money and I dont wanna lose it for nothing.

In my opinion, PayPal should be kept since it is one of the most popular forms of how people spend they're money on the internet. It would also take a big option away from everyone outside of the USA.

i say paybycash is a very good payment for teens because they can pay from thier own money not creditcards.

btw ultimate gamecard ... i like it... you feel that you have your own games credit card and no body can prevent you. and you can use it in any time without have premission from another people ( like your parents)
