I agree, but then there should be NO voting/donor items if you really want to see game in action. Is it there? NO! Then this make no sense that you are saying to remove frost. There are already many voting/donor items. Thus, adding Frost at such high cost not going to destroy raiding.

Some people are gonna talk about bringing the cost down. and thus there's really no use in ICC or Vault of Archavon.

We did not say to REMOVE the cost. We can farm Frost faster than waiting 2-3 days and getting few Frost by voting here. There are many other items to get by voting. Frost is not the everything.

Because you can then just get Endgame gear with doing nothing but just getting on the website once every 12 hours for a few days. Which makes it as boring as it can ever get.

Well, wearing full donor set OR wearing frost item set, will let you END the game? NOT AT ALL! Second, wow active players are not going to sit back and coming ONLY for vote here. They will keep play their game and also taking advantage of vote.

But, I don't think this is destroying end-game. No one is going to beat challenges with ONLY GEARED ITEMS unless they are well-experienced wow player in Raids (no matter, icc, voa)

Like I stated earlier, "Frost emblems" were added, but we still want to encourage raiding for them. The voting option is a last resort for those player who desperately want the item. Therefore, the amount of voting points required to obtain the emblems will not be lowered. In addition, under the assumption that a person votes everyday, the "Item of the Month" is another factor on what a person may vote for as there is a limited time frame to obtain one specific item.

Considering the price of an emblem being 20 points and you get 9.5 points per 12 hours. A player would need to vote three times just for 1 emblem. Where as for the cost of 10 emblems, where a player needs to vote 20 times. Taking into account that raid locks are every three days, and there are multiple versions of ICC that can be done plus VOA, raiding still is by far a faster way to obtain Frost Emblems. This method of voting to obtain them is more of a last resort to obtain those couple emblems you so "desperately" need for said item. In addition, to actually obtain the end game gear, a player will still need to run through ICC to obtain multiple "Mark of Sanctification". On another note the gear obtained from actually raiding in ICC on some levels is technically better then those that can obtained from the vendors. If anything I actually see players using the emblems to acquire Relentless pieces for PVP, where as on Exile it would be used to obtain PVE gear based on population numbers.

Overall the cost of "Emblem of Frost" will not go down, if anything it may go up.

I highly disagree with the motion of adding Emblem of Frost for voting. Even if its 190 VP per 10 frost emblems.

I really don't think it would bring any good, because even with the addition of vote gear items. It really makes classic instances like Ulduar and TOC obsolete. No one does it anymore. And if i had a chance. I'd love to get a run through them. But I don't because no one does them anymore because of the vote gear already give you the drops from such raids or higher level drops from TOC make running the previous mentioned instances obsolete. Because most people on this server prefer running instances where you get better loot.

I highly welcome the idea of the new recipes and an Item of the Month. But adding Emblem of Frost to VP. would making raiding ABSOLUTELY Useless. And even if its really expensive right now. We all know it will get cheaper later on. such was the case with a lot of other items on the vote store. And it influenced the in game experience.

I think Justice meant good. But i think more people on this server need to experience tough raids and more understanding in the game. Giving them free handouts for everything would not help. My argument is that less free handouts would lead to: Less wipes on instances. Better PvP. Less overall number of people who don't understand the game = A better overall experience of the realm. Because I've seen people with ICC heroic gear wipe on level 70 dungeon heroics. And It wasn't pretty.

10 emblems of frost cost 190 vote points. So in a month, you can get like what, 20 ? Thats crap. We raid for fun, emblems is a reward, thats all. You go win a lottery for a thousand dollars and buy everything from the vote store, what will you do playing the game ? Huh ?

The vote store is good, nothing should/shall change. I would do ToC, i love it, the only problem being = IT IS CLOSED. -_- Its not like you get infinite vote points, everything is good the way it is, we play on this server to do ICC. With the vote items, its easier to get to 5kgs.

One whole month under assumption you vote every 12 hours is equal to 532 points, without the bonus for the first three days of each month approximately. That is a lot of vote points. However the amount will be within a reasonable and calculated range, which is dependent on the item.

well, not really, I find that I get around 500- vote points every month (cause I can only double vote every 4th day or so)
cause I mean, cmon, we arent robots, not all can vote every 12hours every single day.

so lets just assume that an average player gets 500 vote points every month. like you said, this seems like alot.

but consider this: what if we have more than just 1 char? I mean, myself, I play with 3 chars. if I buy the "item of the month" for all 3 chars that leaves me with only 50 voting points at the end of the month!

I honestly think you guys should lower the item of the month. maybe if you cap it to 100 points every month might be a little more sensible

or other wise keep the price at 150points, but change the item of the month every 2 months instead of just 1.
