So after reading through the various post on the forums, and mashing my head on the keyboard, there have been several additions the the voting store and some changes to the VIP store. We have also implemented a new system called "Item of the Month"

Item of the Month - is a item which will be put on the voting page for a various amount of voting points, which will be dependent on item. After the month has ended, the item will be removed, and a new item will take its place for the month. At this time mostly mounts which can't be obtained currently will rotate throughout the month, until some other items can be decided on.

The item of the month can be found under "Character/Item of the Month"

This update is more focused towards the Voting Store for Exile/Redemption & Eternal.

The changes are as follows:

VIP

• Removed some VIP mounts (Those that were never donated for)
• Reduced the cost of the Armani War Bear to 5 VIP points from 10.

Voting

• Added various Plans/Patterns from Trial of the Grand Crusader & Ulduar (Redemption/Exile)
• Reduced the cost of "Reins of the Green Proto-Drake" to 100 from 300.
• Added Emblems of Frost(Redemption/Exile)
• Added Kharmaa's Grace since Alliance players were unable to obtain it from Wintergrasp

For the rest of the month and April the "Wooly Rhino" will be the item of the Month.

I noticed some plans are marked for lvl 85, does that mean you have to be lvl 85 to wear those armors? Confused.

Items what you craft from plans are not for lv85. Plans item lv is 85. Like there is gear item lv. Example: T7 = lv200 etc

Comment: Very nice work. I really liked the additions of Emblem of Frost and Recipes and item of the month.

Suggestion: However, I have one suggestion regarding Frost Voting Point.

* We had 10 VP discount for Triumph & Seals. These single items VP cost is less i.e. 5 and 3 respectively:
1 Triumph = 5 VP
10 Triumph = 40 VP

1 Seal = 3 VP
10 Seal = 20 VP

* But, Single Frost costs 20 VP... should not we have 150 OR something near around for a sum of 10 Frost?
1 Frost = 20 VP
10 Frost = 190 VP?

Can you guys reduce this VP cost please? (It is that we have to spent 1.5 days to get 1 Frost Emblem... sounds bad) then we can get in game.

yes yes it is.


And frost emblems were put at higher price, since we still want to encourage raiding and such for emblems.

Hello, the item of the month idea is amazing!! I have one suggestion though, would it be possible to put in the recipes, the recipe for stylin' purple hat and stylin' crimson hat? those would finish off my dinner suit collection!

just my idea though, I've been through sethekk halls and the other dungeon several times and on all of them the recipe has never dropped.

One whole month under assumption you vote every 12 hours is equal to 532 points, without the bonus for the first three days of each month approximately. That is a lot of vote points. However the amount will be within a reasonable and calculated range, which is dependent on the item.

There is a precedence for 500-point mounts in the vote store, which is part of my concern, but the sentiment of that post comes largely from my impatience. "Shiny thing? Need 100 more points? Blerg 'til next Tuesday!"


And "Until other items can be decided on" sounds very interesting. Any hints on if its going to follow a trend, like being cosmetic or something like that?

I would like to see this change aswell, i can farm 10 badges in pos in 15 mins but to get 10 off the website i have to wait 4 days? I don't want anything change to the frost ones because those are easy to get once you start raiding. I would like to see the EOT costs reduced alot as stated in that post 10 EoT for 20 points is fair.

well, not really, I find that I get around 500- vote points every month (cause I can only double vote every 4th day or so)
cause I mean, cmon, we arent robots, not all can vote every 12hours every single day.

so lets just assume that an average player gets 500 vote points every month. like you said, this seems like alot.

but consider this: what if we have more than just 1 char? I mean, myself, I play with 3 chars. if I buy the "item of the month" for all 3 chars that leaves me with only 50 voting points at the end of the month!

I honestly think you guys should lower the item of the month. maybe if you cap it to 100 points every month might be a little more sensible

or other wise keep the price at 150points, but change the item of the month every 2 months instead of just 1.

While i say adding the new items is a good idea. Adding Emblem of Frost for voting is not such a good idea. The addition of all the endgame emblems means it would make raiding obsolete. thus the players would be missing out on a lot of experience and would be getting all the endgame gear without really the required experience to wield it.
And thus. it would lead to a lot of people crying out "Nerf Nerf Nerf" every time they meet something challenging.

I highly disagree with the motion of adding Emblem of Frost for voting. Even if its 190 VP per 10 frost emblems.
As from my experience on this server. Some people are gonna talk about bringing the cost down. and thus there's really no use in ICC or Vault of Archavon. Because you can then just get Endgame gear with doing nothing but just getting on the website once every 12 hours for a few days. Which makes it as boring as it can ever get.

I really don't think it would bring any good, because even with the addition of vote gear items. It really makes classic instances like Ulduar and TOC obsolete. No one does it anymore. And if i had a chance. I'd love to get a run through them. But I don't because no one does them anymore because of the vote gear already give you the drops from such raids or higher level drops from TOC make running the previous mentioned instances obsolete. Because most people on this server prefer running instances where you get better loot.

I highly welcome the idea of the new recipes and an Item of the Month. But adding Emblem of Frost to VP. would making raiding ABSOLUTELY Useless. And even if its really expensive right now. We all know it will get cheaper later on. such was the case with a lot of other items on the vote store. And it influenced the in game experience.

I think Justice meant good. But i think more people on this server need to experience tough raids and more understanding in the game. Giving them free handouts for everything would not help. My argument is that less free handouts would lead to: Less wipes on instances. Better PvP. Less overall number of people who don't understand the game = A better overall experience of the realm. Because I've seen people with ICC heroic gear wipe on level 70 dungeon heroics. And It wasn't pretty.
