The server is still relatively new. I hear we have around 50-60 level 80s, but I'm referring to items level 60 and under. We lower levels just don't have the gold to buy the items cos they are so high. Can we please keep the prices lower for lower levels? Thanks!

i agree that AH items should have a lower pricing because this is a very new server and the economy is not very mature yet. but how low is lower?

what i did for my first character is to learn professions that can earn me gold, example: mining & herbalism. i then sell all the raw mats on AH for the lowest price from those listed. another mat that can earn you good gold is cloth. wool, silk, mageweave and runecloth are good mats to list on AH and can command a higher price as they're used as raw mats for other professions and also for the cloth donation quests to gain reps.

you can get decent amount of gold if you're good at AH trading. i'm almost at 400 gold at level 53 now and i only spend less than 20 minutes on AH each time i play.

is actually pretty much fun having to slowly earn your gold and to level up your profession. this is truly the most satisfying way to play wow, because when you gain certain achievement, you'll feel a certain level of accomplishment. on a positive note, since the server population is rather low, you'll reap the rewards later on for your hardwork when the numbers start to climb and the economy fully matures.

Horde AH in my opinion has decent prices on low lvl items. Along the AH ppl are selling items on world chat too where u can negotiate for a better price.

If your horde theres plenty of people giving items away free, also, you have decent chance on recieving some starting gold just ask in global

The Horde side of this server is simply awsome, price are good, people a really funny/friendly/mature.

I have been locked out of my account in the last day due to a bug, i started a new account and got lot of help form other players It make me feel like im living the early years of WoW Retail back again.



Most of the people know how to play ther class incredibly well, we just have to wait for the population to raise, then the economy will stabilize and the RDF will be smoking

And if your having difficulty finding gear try to join a guild, a good leveling guild always have something for you..

Also Joining the /wolrd is a must on this server as its not crossfaction; no spam make it perfect!

I used to play on another blizzlike server, it was 1x instead of Genesis' 2x but very much alike both in economy and number of players.
The one differense I can think of is actually the AH, on the other server the devs decreased the cost of putting stuff in the AH by 50% or so just to let the economy rise a bit. This means that if a player wants to put a stack of linen cloth into the AH it will now cost 1 silver or something (not much I know) but if it isn't sold the player now loses that 1 silver to the AH and goes into a black hole.
By decreasing this to 50c or even less it means that there are less money going into that black hole never to be seen again.

Just my 2 copper of thoughts on how to stable the economy now in the beginning.

That not a bad idea, but i dont think it will fit the pure Blizzlike spirit of this realm

When we put this realm up for a vote, we made it clear there would be no gear up for sale or vote, and that there would be little to no dev time put into it. We explained this would be pure trinity as is, and would be updated to each stable trinity revision. This means the fixes that go in are the ones that trinity does.

This was agreed on by you the players.

I think lots of player has asked for a PURE blizzlike server, and i think it will stay that way

Until the population on this realm rises, the Prices will probably stay outrageous. But hey, I'm selling frost weave at 15g a stack, so I'm not comPlaining.

Ah prices are GOOD! The AH prices are as they should be on a blizzlike server. Ofc ppl who had/have to grind XP to get to 80 wont have the gold to buy things.

i check horde AH every day and i see normal prices on low lvl items and not only. Idk what the ally AH is like.

What could you possibly want to buy from the AH before 80? I mean 16 slot bags and glyphs would be nice but neither will really make that much of a difference while leveling. Just suck it up, put your nose down, and grind your ass off until 80.

guys the equation is simple you want prices to go down.? sell more..!!! the more of the same item is available the cheaper it will be...! so if you find a "green" you don't need put it in the AH for a reasonable price

*small example: after a big grind yesterday i had around 10 items i can't use/don't need, so I added them all to the AH for reasonable price (all under 2g) in 1 hour i sold them all and added around 10g to my pocket.. now I had the option to sell them for more (saw same items for 5g+) but this way not only i helped a fellow player I also made a profit (and after checking today those items that were selling for 5g+ still selling ) so yeah I made a smaller profit but I made a profit and the other players didn't

your choice... sell everything you don't need and sell smart and you'll see the AH will have more items and the prices will go down...!!!

P.S. why there are no low lvl rings/necklaces in the AH don't we (Alliance) have a jeweler in our ranks..?? if you are there try to make few low lvl rings and sell them for a reasonable price I assure you that they will sell fast...

I've actually taken to dumping all the cloth, gems, recipes, and many of the BoEs I get while leveling my latest character on the Auction House. I had figured people leveling professions or who wanted cheap and reasonably priced upgrades for their characters would eat it up. So far the only thing that sells regularly? Cloth.

I imagine if more people thought to look at the auction house it'd probably be a bit different... And I wouldn't have something like 120 mails related to the auction house and my auctions expiring in my mailbox.... But alas.

Perhaps I will go back to hoarding so I have an easier time with leveling professions?

If I gotta be quite honest, I don't see your problem. I have a bit over a day fully played time and I've received stuff from guild mates without asking for it, boosts through dungeons of my level and help with elite quests. And the stuff in the auction house is really low priced (alliance auction house that is), I bought about 12 or 13 in total items from auction house, all being equipment. And I still have almost 300 gold. I have had money for mounts without a problem as it's pretty easy to make money on this server.

Long story short; either get a guild or be an auction whore.
