He does have a point, whether you agree with his opinion or not is beside the point- are your urges that powerful? Is the troll-lust so great that you can't control yourselves? maybe what he's suggesting does go against the whole reasoning behind this realm, but that's not a good enough excuse to realease all that pent up nerd rage on the guy

But is automatic flight points blizzlike?

IIRC, you could get more flight points than you had discovered when you faction changed. This was of course if you (like me ) had done ALL the quests and was in a zone that was technically too low for you...

...so the amount of FPs is tied to your chars level when faction changing.

That said, I don't think automatic flight points is a good idea, maybe if faction changing is ever implemented (think "Blizz-like" ).

What part of BLIZZLIKE don't you guys get? Try working hard for something. Not getting everything handed to you. This will never EVER happen.

No you wont get automated and/or instant flight points. This is blizzlike and wont add custom or modified stuff.
also, setting flight Paths to instant can bug out some quests, literally all quests who involve fly over area X and drop Y would be unfixable broken then.

I'm really happy with the way the realm is. I like the x2 XP (Rested 24x7 yay! - even if it is for some buggy quests, its the perfect speed for me) and its stable, well built, etc. Feels like I'm earning something.

The population could be greater, but that is no fault of the game, its host, design, etc. And the players I have met have been pretty awesome. I've gotten my brother and my wife, and possibly the brother's wife to join in the last week. Overall, very happy, planning on VIPing in another month or so.

Don't change a thing in the core game/engine. As far as Vote rewards, the only thing I can think of are unique mounts (which I see some are already available). The major cost to mounts in WoW is in getting the skill required - the mounts themselves are not that crazy expensive... so rewarding voters or VIPers with these doesn't really bother me or break the game or anything (like uber-gear or handing out purples/unearned Heirlooms, etc kind does).
