Leveling your horde quickly and easily

#1 by itzdevin » Tue Sep 27, 2011 5:48 pm

This is an alternative route from Phalanx13's guide. His is a great way to level, and I just want to offer an alternative if you are currently trying to cap all your toon's to level 80.
Note:You will see me put next to an area name Lvl X-Y. X=Lvl best to be when you enter this area, y=best time to leave this area.

1-11 (starting area)
If you wish to do it the old fashioned way then by all means go for it. But for the others that wish to do it as quickly as possible then you should talk to the NPC Winston. Read the instructions and follow the quest. You will now be Lvl 11 and you can now move on.
STOP! Now go to the mall and learn your skills from your class trainer, as you will know 1-2 skills (and racial skills) do this evertime you move onto a new area, or at least every 5 lvls.

12-27 The barrens
Now quickly fly to ogrimmar and run all the way to the barrens (look on your mini map to find it) keeping following the path over the bridge on onto the crossroads. Here you can accept a slew of quests that will yield between 4000-10000 XP. After about 6 quests you can move on down the path to find Camp Taurajo. Here you can accept a few quests that yield around 10,000 XP. After you do this it would be good to go back to the mall and learn new skills. Fly on back to the camp from Thunder Bluff. Once you do all the quests that you have amassed move even farther on down. Now you will meet an NPC that strives up and down the path. He gives 3 really good quests that should get you to about lvl 25 by now. Time to move on!

28-37 Thousand needles
This area can be a problem if you don't stay on the path for there are many mobs that stay on the side. Run all the way to Windrunner camp and get the quests there. After doing all these quests you can move onto the most northern part of thousand needles. This area is a dried up lake that is now used a racing track (if you played on remorse then you will recognize this as one of the event racing areas.) Finish all the quests here and now its time to move on.

38-47 Tanaris
Here you will come across the desert area of Tanaris. This is home to the instance Zul Farrak which I recommend you get a higher lvl to run you through at lvl 40. You will come across the town of Gadgetzan. Get as many quests as you can here as you will be to low lvl to accept all the quests. Continually lvl here until you hit about lvl 49. Move on out.

48-57 Un Goro Crater
This place has many mobs with many easy quests that can be done with ease. Run to the north part of Un Goro and accept all the quests here. All of the mobs are in large numbers and easy to find. After doing all the quests its time to not only leave this area, but leave Azeroth all together.

58-68 The Hellfire Peninsula
This area is unique as it is the first time you are required to be flagged for pvp in order to be an important quest. It is also the first time that Alliance and Horde camps are so close together. If you ever played the game Diablo 2 by Blizzard, then you will know that this is a spin off of the area in Act IV. Anyways, here is where all of the Hellfire citadel instances are, as well as 3 areas to get quests, Thrallamar, Falcon watch, and a small camp near the alliance town of honor hold. After doing all these quests its time to move on back to Azeroth.

69-73 Borean Tundra
lvl from 70-80 is going to be the longest your lvling will take. So you will be going to a few places in Northrend before you cap. That said, lets move on over to northrend. An easy way to get there is to teleport to the instance Azjol-Nerub. If you have a previous lvl 80 then you can buy the cold whether flying book from the flying trainer in the mall. It will let you fly in Northrend at lvl 68 instead of 77. You will come to an area called Taunka'le Village. Get all the quests you can and finish it up. NOTE: some quests are bugged here. I do not know which ones as they change from time to time. Just try to bear with it. After you do some quests here move on to the D.E.H.T.A camp. Do all the quests here and get on out.

74-77 Sholazar Basin or Zul Drak
You can go to either places, it's personal preference. After this I would strongly suggest flying over to storm peaks and finding the small camp of K3.

77-80 Storm Peaks, K3
There are just enough quests here that should get you to 80. These quests are fun mostly because you are anticipating your lvl capping. So beat up some mobs and collect some items and there ya go! thats 1-80 in a nut shell.

lvl 80 and beyond
Many people wonder what to do after 80 if they are new to WoW. The best way to go about gearing your player is running Pit of Saron (pos) and Forge of Souls (fos). Farm these instances for Emblems of triumph which you can redeem for gear at the emblem gear vendor in Dalaren. Also run ICC 10-25 man and VOA 10-25 for gear and emblems of frost to get higher end gear.

Thank you for bearing through my guide. I'm sure im missing a lot of information but its a simple guide that is fairly quick. With all the heirlooms and some dedication, I was able to lvl my toons in about 6 hours. Comment below and tell me what you think!
