want custom donations?
go to redemption.

want better gear than anyone else can obtain?
go to redemption.

not saying dont add any gear for donation at all, I know we need donors, so if you feel the need to add some gear to the VIP store then do so. just dont add anything thats unobtainable.
if anyone can get it ingame, then by all means let the donors have the possibility to get it.

but do not put any piece of gear in there that a regular player cant get.
eg: eternal tabard/bags with stats/other unobtainable items.


may there be no difference at all between the gear of a donor and a non donor! = blizzlike

A good counter-argument in favor of heirloom items would be that heirloom items are bound to account, not bound to server or faction. I would love the opportunity to transfer my heirloom gear from redemption to genesis. This is indeed Blizzlike. You can do this on blizzard servers.

id like to see something like what blizz store has where u can pay for an XP boost, not a huge boost but like double xp for 4 hours or something, i think the hairlooms as others have said should be left as is.

Well, maybe they should make it 100 VP each. or 75. Either way, you have to work for it.

Technically that isn't working for it , you just log on to your account and click a few buttons, this needs to stay clean, why argue for a realm with heirlooms when you can just go on redemption and play there, this is really just an argument with an infinite loop. Point blank, if you want heirlooms, join redemption, for clean blizz like playing, go genesis. Don't try to fix what isn't broken mates

I am loving Genesis so far, its exactly what I am looking for, a blizzlike CHALLENGE. Do NOT come to Genesis unless you like CHALLENGES and are willing to WORK HARD/INVEST TIME. Do not ask for any custom perks (portals, experience boosters, free bags etc), if you want goofy game experience ruining gimmicks go play Redemption.

Everyone in Genesis will be required to WORK and EARN everything they have and to me thats a beautiful thing not to mention extremely fair. Anything that can give an advantage to another player (wrathful pvp gear, heroic t10) should NOT be able to be donated for on Genesis. As other people have said I have no problem with vanity items, if people want to donate on this server it should be for things that do not effect gameplay. People who donate for things that do not give them an advantage over others truly are donators and have my thanks for supporting the server.

The server is awesome Eternal staff, lets keep it that way. Let's avoid the pitfalls of the past (Redemption) and move into a better gaming future.

I have to agree with the majority of the comments here. I want the server to stay as close to Blizzlike as possible. If you want to add stuff to the store that won't effect the game play or give an unfair advantage to one player over another at some point down the line that's fine with me but for now I'd rather it stay as close to Blizzlike as possible.
