also the ptr stuff is awesome, but ptr is temporary.

Yes if the PTR is for one of the realms running 3.3.5. You will not be able to connect to those that regard cataclysm realms though.

yes, its not for cataclism, its a local update for 4.0 custon.

I'm just wondering... if you need a player to submit feedback for the Anti-Cheat, doesn't it mean that the player would need to be using a hack first to discover if the Anti-Cheat is working? And since the first sentence says, player should report hacker when they see one, kinds of contradict one another right

Not sure what gave you that idea...

if you are getting kicked as a hacker when you are not hacking is a reason to submit feedback...
Seeing a lot less hackers and letting us know that is submitting feedback...
Seeing people hacking and them not getting busted by the anti cheat would be a reason to submit feedback...

A vast majority of people do not like Cata and are still playing 3.3.5.

If you take a look at the top servers cata VS 3.3.5, over 90% of people are still on 3.3.5.

I just sent a player report upon seeing someone with a Lich King 10 heroic kill/achieve (January 15, 2012)
Forum -> Player Reports -> Redemption -> that one made by me just earlier today



Some Redemption players know you cannot kill LK that easily, due to the degree of difficulty and some problems with the Valk script.
He is UNKILLABLE on HEROIC MODE (legit).

Obviously, you cannot even GET to Lich King on 10 heroic - because Sindragosa (on heroic mode) - is broken due to ice tombs and line of sight.
She is UNKILLABLE on HEROIC MODE (legit).

The report I gave was for the player's ARMORY page.

A Super GM replied saying "denied, no proof".

I noted that the player was relatively new, average geared, and yet had 25 heroic kills as well.

Now I'm not saying "OMG BUN HIM BUN!!!".

I'm simply asking for the matter to be checked, when possible, because using a hack to get to him and kill him, was likely.


I guess they were expecting me to post the actual SS of the guy killing LK, as if I just went:
"Hey invite me, are you hacking? can i join and see? Weeeeeeeeee!"

Unfortunately, the best I could get was an Armory/Game SS of Achievement page.

Anyway - I would like to offer a suggestion to change the Report Player interface to add a "COMMENT BOX" at the bottom - just in case a screenshot was not enough, or further explanation may be needed.

What I mean is an actual bigger text box wherein additional explanation may be added.

For example - the latest report I made was (like I said) a guy who had a Lich King 10hc kill/achievement - on January 15, 2012.
Everyone knows it's impossible to get that legit, or even get to him legit.

I wrote the name, added a screenshot, and the reason for reporting (with additional explanation).

However I think when I tried to explain a bit more - it may have been misunderstood by the staff -
-- because the text box was only "one line".
This means whatever I was trying to point out to him would look like a jumbled, run-on sentence (as I saw when I checked it on my own player report section).


Example of what you have now:

Reason for Reporting: Possible hacking or abuse - this is because LK10hc cannot be gotten legitimately due to several bugs including the prerequisite bosses like Sindragosa; it is on january 15 very recently and the boss is already scripted unlike half a year ago; this screenshot only shows the armory page of the player and no other image because i have not seen him do an abuse at the very moment; but I think showing his armory - from your very own server's database, would be enough; also the player is undergeared yet has multiple 25hc farmed kills which is somewhat doubtful; kindly check bla bla bla bla bla

I encountered the player while doing a daily and noticed the title he has. Upon checking his achievement/statistics, I saw a kill for LK10hc/LK10.
It was dated on Jan 15, 2012 (a couple of days ago) wherein the boss is already scripted.

The screenshot I made shows the Armory page of this player with Lich King 10 heroic kill:
- it is known that killing heroic LK is impossible due to existing bugs, not to mention the degree in difficulty
- it is also known that Sindragosa is unkillable on heroic modes due to bugs and will wipe any group on a single air phase
- this means anyone who has obtained this has done it via an exploit or hack

Also if you check the Armory - among statistics and achievement lists:
- the player is undergeared/newly gearing up
- he already has farmed kills of bosses in 25heroic
- this is suspicious since no group will survive or attempt 25heroic with anyone undergeared
