What is a GM's job?
As a GM we are the face of the Eternal-WoW staff. Players see us first. This also means we get all the abuse when the players get mad. We are the buffer between the Development team and the general population. Every ticket does not need an Administrator to look at it, and every person that thinks something is bugged does not need to talk to a Developer. We help point others to where they should be posting and pass on the issues that need to be addressed by someone else.

There are some requirements however:

• Must be at least 17 years old
• Must be active in the community - we don't accept people who come in and post an application on the day they joined
• Must be able to commit at least 15 hours a week to meet GM duties
• Must show effort on the application, we don't expect a 3 page essay, but we don't want one-liners either

IF you get accepted an private message will be sent to you , if not we do not send out any kind of messages , so if 10 days passes and you didn't got any answer that means you got denied .

Yea sure I made like four applications since I play on the server..and I have some time played on the realm..No private messages, no nothing..I don't consider fair waiting 10 days..and after those 10 days, you get denied...Please reconsider..

I have to agree with andrei on this one. Just like after job interviews, you need to let people know what's the deal. It's fair practice and no one is left hanging. The decision weather the candidate qualifies for the post is, obviously, yours and it would not be too much of a hassle for your to create a template that basically says "thanks for applying but your not the guy were looking for."

You should send a message telling us that we did not pass the application or something and if I want to apply for something else on my main account that I applied to be a GM with, will I be able to apply in 25 days? We have far too many Denied applications to be able to do that sort of thing.

Besides.... Just like a real job, you don't get contacted if you're not hired.

Another thing to remember, guys, is that the age requirement is set there for a reason. We understand that you may be very mature for your age, but we have other reasons as well. A 14 year-old's schedule isn't always compatible with a GM's schedule, and our time requirements would likely not be fulfilled. Just an example, but something to keep in mind.

yes we understand y the age requirement is there, over the next few years us 14 yr old's have exams over the next few years, but the thing with most of us gaming 14 yr old's we spend most of our time playing games rather than studying.

You must remember that those who meet the age requirements are also more likely to be the ones with the most experience, too. You will only understand most age requirements as you age; because you will be growing into the age category by which the restrictions are set.

yet it is malpractice of any person to deny somebody the right of their education (and higher education) for the necessity of a game. sure, you might choose to play a game over studying, but a student failing their classes isn't something anybody wants on their mind, just because s/he said 'the app is good, so screw his school'.

not only that, but it's illegal for people under 16 to work, even in the uk and under-the-table. considering this is illegal and a charity job (yes, charity still counts as a job) it could result in a double-wammy on the server owner/s. ^_^;
