I'd say option 3.

Ok, honestly I believe that most people are choosing option 3 because its basically free loot, and no one really seems to want to work for their gear. If option 3 is chosen, please do what was previously said, and reduce quality or drop rate of gear, or even increase the raid lockout duration. If everyone gets BiS gear within just a few weeks, why would they keep playing?

to me, it seems best to do it as retail did: open the first 4 bosses(opened right now except for gunship), then the plagueworks once those bosses are fixed, and so on. this is the way retail did it, to let members gear up and get used to the environment of icc. most ppl here want free loot, and the posibility to gear fast. to me, this is short-period thinking. after two weeks, everyone is geared well, and only the ppl who got skills will be invited in raids, only because there are so many ppl to choose from. for me it would mean i would go and actively search for a top-end raiding guild, like ive been in before on retail(Extend on Stormrage to be precise). maybe people want to lvl fast, but it takes time to learn a class. so if youve got your gear, you will probably kicked out of your raid for gemming wrong, having wrong gear(a hunter with 20k mana?!) or just not making the dps limit(which should be around 5k in icc, and many struggle today already..) so i say be carefull with tank and spank, as it destroys more than it will fix.

Ok, since the idea to remove some "bugged" abilities is out of the question, because the scripts are written on C++ and integrate a package, the next best choice i have seen posted here is:
I propose changing damage values of boss skills for the bugged bosses, and doable bosses that are bugged in 10hc 25/25hc versions. For example, Rotface does a skill that's supposed to hit a single target instead of. This makes it impossible for healers to heal due to it usually one hitting everyone. But imagine it hitting everyone but still doing low enough damage that makes it possible for good healers to heal. It should still make the ICC experience turn out to be quite challenging. Sure, random pugs would fail most of the time. But people who usually play together would learn how to synchronize their movements and tactics and improve until they are able to take a particular boss down.

I don't know if that is possible, but i think it is, since marrowgar was impossible to beat even on 10 regular runs at when the new script update was implemented, but then after a few weeks, the damage value of coldflames was lessen.
So, if the values are modified, i think any guild with half brain for strategy can manage to learn and adapt to these bosses.
I totally agree with Inexorable, what is the point to have the best gear if you don't know how to use it? Bosses are there to challenge us, and endgame raids are only beatable by serious raids, not pugs.
However, I still think that a temporary option 3 is the lesser evil, in case any other solution can´t be applied.

if the damage of spells is adjustable, festergut, lady dathwisper(on every mode) and marrowgar on 25 and 25hc are possible.

also: is it possible to fix the bug that when spiked, there is a 50% chance you cannot be healed? on marrow, it causes 95% of the deaths when i do it..really annoying xD

tank and spank will be boring it will only lead to dps competition for non guildies, no tactics, no hardworks and yes definitely free loots. well, i just hope they lessen the damage if devs can.

anyway, hope they fix TOC as well

but for what its worth, i thank you for everyone dev and gm alike for keeping up the good work!

Then play on a fun server. Thats what they are there for. It's also already extremely easy to gear up your toons with all the pos farms and whatnot. Why make it easier.

If your having issues gearing up then join a guild that farms. If not that find a group thats decent and farm as many emblems as possible with them. If your STILL having issues, consider the possibility that it may be because your the "noob", and no one wants you in their group.

Option 3 is the best. And for you people that think this is a bad idea read again what option 3 is all about ( They will make tank and spank only the bosses that are un-killable, so the scripted bosses that actually work will still be scripted. You are complaining that then you will have free gear, well play this server for like 3-4 months and i don't have what to do, 6k gs and that's there isn't anything i can do anymore.

uhm...we have 3 scripted bosses... the rest is not killable, due to being closed, or having bugged scripts..maybe you should come some more into icc again, as it is boring right now, and it will be even more faceroll when they'll all be tank&spank. 8 bosses(LK not availably anyway) to do, tank and spank..i think ill farm trash as a challenge then?:(

I would say Option 3 but make ICC a 1 week raidlock again without the Hellscream Buff.

I agree with this 100%.
