For most WoW servers Horde always out-populated the Alliance side also people want something unique or just looking bad. :D

As the saying goes the more population, the more stupid people you are in.

Some of the main reason's people roll horde are things like more active PvE guilds (such as II Nexus II and multiple ever evolving guilds) and just the sheer number's game that horde has over alliance. Granted I've seen a lot more ninja's in horde than alliance.

True, but even PvP wise, horde outnumber alliance 75% of the time, both skill wise, gear wise and player wise.
This can be done, as my friend had did it on his private server, and he's not a complete expert. So surely it can't be too hard.

Well i mean even if it is doable, it's just not a option, it would cause too many people to quit playing or not join when they see that their fav faction has been locked out.

well if anyone here was an actual nerd and kept up with the whole warcraft series, then they would know the stories behind each race. personally I love the night elf back round and a retail I rolled a night elf druid. I guess horde is chosen more cause they are most associated as the "bad guys". And everyone wants to be the bad guys :D

Horde:
Crosschex(Paladin) - BElf

Indeed i did :) I hate names that are just derived from a name that someone else came up with and has a diffrent spelling.

The only one i didnt come up with myself is Electrode (Named after the pokemon because my bro's guild is called "Pokemasters" ^^

Arena & Duel wise, sort of. But when people go for BGs to get gear, alliance always get smashed, just simply because of the out number ever since christmas. Whenever I'm on a go for a bg, 4 bgs in a row it was 6-15 or something close to that,

Zuppa let me stop you right there. Overall the Alliance has better pvp players both skill and gear wise. The Alliance has so many pvp donors per battleground its retarded. Meanwhile half of the Horde players who join a BG typically have like 3k GS or they are wearing PvE gear = no threat at all. For months (like July to early December) the Alliance crushed the Horde in BGs, they won 90% of the battles during the day and won 100% of the battles at night. I once played 9 battlegrounds in a row without winning during this time, usually on a good day I would lose only 3 before winning 1.(I'm 1 hour ahead of server time, so time frames are based from my perspective)

Lately though the tide has began to shift and the Horde are actually becoming capable instead of free honor kills. The typical Horde BG group usually consists of about 5 people with like 3k GS, 4 or 5 people with 5k GS in PvE gear, and about 4 or 5 people with proper pvp gear with above 5.7k GS. And yes the Horde has begun monopolizing the BGs at night just like the Allies did for the past 4 or 5 months before hand. Also the Horde seems to have gotten slightly better at performing BG objectives, for months I would watch as people pvped at a base without capturing it, or they would fight in the middle of nowhere, it would drive me nuts.

Anyways like I said, yes Horde owns the night at the moment due to outnumbering, but remember half that number is like 3k GS people, meaning if you see a 14 vs 6 match, its essentially 6 Alliance vs 8 Horde. Not to mention the Alliance ALWAYS has a healer, typically they have atleast 3. Do you know how often the Horde has a healer? Close to never, outside of Whodaboss I can't think of anyone who consistently heals in a BG for the Horde.

TLDR
Alliance use to own BGs, now its the Horde's turn (atleast during the night hours) so deal with it as a faction will never be closed. But rest easy knowing that the average Alliance player is better than the average Horde player in PvP

You have a point.

For the last 6 months or so, the alliance was all that was pvp, while the horde held the pve spot. It seems now that the only way the horde are winning anything is simply by out numbering the alliance. very few times will i see someone that is actually good horde side or that has any pvp gear. But many times(especially later in the night) I see many people who have not ran Pos/Fos at all.

I have actually seen people argue with me about being able to get pvp gear from emblems by running pos.
So I think a majority of the newer players (or PvP'ers) have no idea that you do not need to run a bg to get basic pvp gear.

Bottom line is the only real reason the alliance keep losing so many bg's is because they are a small group facing an army of newer players charging in like they are rambo.

So Just something to think about

Serious suggestion: Offer free Horde to Ally Faction Transfers for a certain amount of time or for a certain amount of characters. Example: Horde to Ally Faction Transfers free for the next 75 people. Restrictions: You must be level 70 or above. (or whatever restriction they set, don't want a bunch of level 1's taking it for no reason). I have 5 85's, majority of them geared and if I could transfer them all to Ally for free I would do it.

You do realize 1. this is Redemption so it is only lvl 80. 2. Even if they offered that, people still like to play whatever faction they choose to play. If they want to play Horde, so be it, if they want to play Ally, so be it. No one can tell someone what to play. I personally like Horde better just because ever since I started playing WoW way back in the day, all the little kids whose parents paid for their subscription were Ally and I hated them, so I played Horde. Then I saw the difference in racials and I like Horde better for that reason as well. People will always play what they want to play, and depending on timezones sometimes there will be more horde on or more ally on. It varies too much and people just need to get used to it. Nothing in a game is ever "balanced" or "fair". There will always be someone on the opposite faction better than someone else and people are gonna get owned and stomped in BGs from time to time. Just play the game. Don't wanna do BGs? Go do Arenas.

if they gave the chance for free transfer form horde to alli, i would do it on my warrior pretty much instantly (so sick of looking at a trolls ass all day. it gets old fast.), and probably would with my rogue or priest too.

when i started those chars i was only looking for pve, where horde always ruled. now i like to pvp, and humans > all other races (cept dwarves for rogue, so they can remove bleeds then stealth....) for pvping, due to "trinket" effect racial.

im sure other people are in my position of having their goals changed with respect to ideal race to play for certain things.

Yep, sorry, I wasn't meant to add skill wise xD
Gear wise; horde have many donors aswell. Right now alliance do have more, but horde consist of more donor ret pallys by the day. Therefore stomping on most people in a BG.
Those 5-6 people with 3k gs in bgs are still capable of silencing/ccing etc. They still are a threat towards you; even able to eat you with helps of others.
Well, from what I've seen, alliance has about 1 healer per 5-6 bgs right now. Horde always have donor/relentless holy pallys or resto druids. They outnumber alliance on healers all the time.
It's not only night hours, when I'm on early in the morning to late in the afternoon, if it's not outnumbering, its outgearing.

On my old server this became a big problem as the ration was somewhat of the order 1:4 so they made Horde to alli transfers free for a month, which actually helped to a certain extent:p just a suggestion ^^

I wouldn't mind seeing that horde to alliance transfer thing happening.
1v1, they aren't a threat at all. My point being is that they have the craziest burst damage, regardless of skill. Just get them a healer and they can take down half a BG if they know their abilitys/talents.
