depends on what the skill level is of the player. I have not seen any classes that are seriously OP compared to other classes in wotlk.

As for bgs and duels, prot war is pretty nuts vs about half the classes, same with a prot paladin. Both can be easily countered by people who know what they're doing. Spriest is all around godly except vs UH dks.
Arenas, spriest/mage is probably one of the best comps this patch.
If you're good, feral can be godly, but Isn't exactly faceroll.
Frost mage can faceroll melee no probs, and DK can faceroll most melee (gg bugged snares and dgrip)

Basically, anything can be OP if you know how to play it. Some have a larger learning curve then others, some are a bit easier.

i didn't..... very few spriests can beat me, only 2 frost mages have beat me... only 3 prot warrior has beat me.... and only a few ret paladins can beat me....

I usually play shadow priest and frost mage in BGs/arena. Used to play a warlock too in pvp but it wasn't for me.

My view of the OP hierarchy for Wotlk

1. Death Knight (doesnt matter spec)
2. Retribution Paladin
3. Shadow Priest

Death Knight practically facerolls everything but retribution paladin and frost mage. Retribution paladin facerolls everything but shadow priest, frost mage, and DK. Shadow priest facerolls everything but death knights, druid healers, good rogues.

This is just the general trend I see without taking into account the skill of certain people with their classes.

I know alot of people complain about shadow priests, but compared to DKs and Ret pallies its a joke. Shadow priests actually have weaknesses, like wearing cloth armor and not having OP heals. You will never see a shadow priest standing and taking damage from 5 enemies at once and living/healing through the damage the way paladins and DKs do. Also a shadow priests damage is steadier than a DKs' or a Rets' so you will never see us 3 or 4 hit you so fast that you think you got 1 shotted.

I'm not saying shadow priests are weak, far from it they are quite formidable, all I am saying is that they do have more weaknesses than a DK or a Ret which is why they take the third spot in my mind.

maybe i'm biased but i just don't see frost mage being considered op. sure, a good frost mage can beat just about anything you throw at them in a duel, but someone who has no idea what they're doing, but still has a basic understanding of wow, won't be able to. i say warlock because the damage is absolutely insane. the fact that a destro lock and bring someone down to well below half of their hp in one deathcoil -> shadowfury is kind of stupid.

however, i think this thread is pointless because everyone is going to have differing opinions and there is no right answer. this thread only serves to start pointless arguments and generally consists of "dear professor oak, please nerf charmander because my bulbasaur can't handle it".

Nerf fury warriors and holy priests, I cant kill them in 2 seconds unless I pop a cd.
