I was in random 25man, im new to this server, i'm a holy paladin(maredjim)i also ret sometime,
but i see ret pala do alot of dps, and i dont understand how, it was crazy high and on every boss, example, this

Most likely abusing the righteous vengeance crit bug from 2pct9. I cant armory him now cause I'm on my phone but I'm pretty sure he'd have that.

Some exploits recently reported:
- this one with the T9
- this one -> redemption/bug-or-this-guy-is-imba-t67648.html
- the one from Blood Queen exploited by Synergy and Co
- spell power and retris
- on the screenshots where Phalanx is getting kicked at LK you can see someone from EmptyBrains asking him how to use a bug to defeat the boss more easily.
And those are just the ones mentioned on this forum these last days...

Just Saying i've seen pallies without 2pc t9/t10 and have 4pc T10 do easily 18k DPS.... its all about the trinkets.... and depending on how well you are with prioritizing your skills you'll break 20k easily... its all about gems/enchants/gear and how you prioritize skills... if Tiny Abom in a Jar worked properly for paladins then it would be fine... but this is impossibru

Sorry my bad i didn't see the #1 dps .... Thats Zarrock #1 Pally on server imo he's one of the few pallies that seal switch and that have it down flawlessly... if you wanna learn someone thing as a ret pally ask him he knows his shit Anyways +1 Zarrock keep up the good dps

I saw all of em easily pull 20+. The highest that I saw I think was Omnigirll sealswitching @ Saurfang 25HC = 27k dps and Sacred's festergut of 24-25? There may be higher records of those but since most of ous have some really nice dps, I don't pay that much attention to recount nowadays. I mostly check whos doing bad not whos doing good lol.

T9 "Bug" was "fixed" 2months back, Vengeance no longer crits like a bitch, its crits like how its supposed to 1.7~2 times,
And this is definitely not bug abuse, Z is really good xD

thats not reported bugs, that's just bugs that ppl whine about. post them on the issue tracker if you want them fix'd

i know it takes a while for them to fix things, i played here for 5months before they fixed the lava in ruins on eternal, and i even told them how to fix it ;3 anyways, they fix alot of stuff, then they do a big update instead of constantly restarting the server etc. It's that that often they update though

1) Its fixed long time ago. Its not 3-4x Crit its 1.7-2x like someone else said.

Don't forget that the DoT is scaling whit Spell Power, i tested it whit Holy gear and ticked thougter than whit retribution set.

I with my noob retri paladin got an average of 2100-2350 DOT normal tick and about 3850-4650 DOT crit which is aproximately about ~1,83 - 2,21 crit multiplier which is about as it should be. I am using complete retribution set no spellpower gear/gems.

However those are quick simulations not an research data. Got those data's from recount/dpz analyzis over an unerased data from my last ICC run.

I don't have 4p t10 yet to make a comparsion of dps btw 2p-t9 2p-t10, however as soon as I got those I will. Im pretty sure the difference is really small since I already asked Omnigirll and Florette to make those tests for me and in 25man with full raid buffs they found a really small difference ~1-1.5k dps. However what they found is that actually t10 wins on a steady fights where you can easily seal switch. Movement fights that the majority of the dps is from dots: RV, SoV => t9 wins.

Give it a test.

What he says is True on fights like Marrow/LDW/Professor/BP/BQ i normally do around 14k+ dps with 4pc T10 depending on how much movement is needed.. verses the 4pc T10 Counterparts i'm at 16k+ depending on the fight and when the boss requires no movement its definitely much higher....

I couldn't help but over hear about all the trolling going on on forums, so hey, im Zarrockk^^

Now, this is @ all of you who think using t9 is "Hilariously bugged"

Go to a Blizzard WoLtk Realm, Wield just 2p t9 and any weapon of your choice, please check recount stats for Vengeance crits and non crits, Do the same on redemption, and Compare them, i know this because i've done the above stated^ and I know for a fact that t9 is no longer buged.

This being say, Vengeance might crit more as it is holy and you are stacking SP, but its retarded to stack SP, and using SP gear isent going to make you Any better, if not much worse.

Next, this is what i personally feel and this is what i did onj retail too, as far as sets go, 2pT9 + 2pT10 is good for mono seal users And by-seal and is a slight bit better than normal t10-4set But this is no where in comparision with T10.5 4set + By-seal, because you get +10% seal damage on 2 seals[+another 10% of all damage cause of SoR glyph], i hope you can do the math.

Lastly, I abuse no bug what so ever so please refrain from throwing wild accusations on random forums without Having the slightest idea on what you are saying^^
