ToL Druid vs. Hpally.

#1 by Spikestrike » Mon Feb 06, 2012 9:05 am

Hello Redemption,

So i currently have 2 characters that can heal and im wondering which would be better to gear. My HPally or my healing druid. Currently their both in the same gear but my druid is alliance and my paladin is horde.

My main issue is, which will heal better in their BiS Gear?

Belf Paladin

Nelf Druid

You'll get different answers depending on the classes people play, or the classes people usually tend to group up with.

"Pala is really good for... etc etc"
"Druid is great for bla bla bla"

The end choice would simply come from you and how you experience the playstyle as you level and learn.

==============

Got a question though:
- Why ask so many things concerning several classes?

One day it's "What is the top DPS class I should donate for?"
Then "What race should I be for mage?"
Then "I'll make a dps druid what should I get?"
Then "Should I be feral or balance?"
Then "Ok what should I get for Death Knight?"
Then "Ok, I have healer characters, is holy pala or resto druid better?"

It's like every few days you're curious about one class or another.

(1) Most of these questions can simply be answered from learning their playstyle and rotations from a simple internet search - whether it's for their BiS list or from various guides.

(2) If you try to gear up different classes separately, or put focus on different classes at the same time, you'll end up not being good on any of them.

=====================

So that's just my advice.

Focus less on asking about every other classes, and what makes them good, or how they'll be good when you play them.

Instead, focus on just one.
Look for guides.
Ask your guildmates ingame (if you have a guild on your legit).
And most of all - learn and master it as you play.

I cannot play a single class. Right now i have a 6.5k GS FFB Mage and im building up my currently 5.1k GS Forst-Blood DK and i'll be going for my paladin next to heal with. If i just played that toon i would end up quitting inside of a week. I like to learn and grow on diffrent classes so that i can be more diverse (Tank class, DPS Class, Healing Class, ect.)

He isn't saying only play one class ever but he is suggesting you take your time with one class at a time and learn all you can about it before moving on to another one. It does seem like you make a topic every other day about what class/race/spec to pick how to play/gear a class or something similar and you won't ever get the full enjoyment out of each class if you are constantly jumping to other ones without learning to play them properly first.

Most of the classes i pick to play i already know how to play so it's not a matter of learning to play them or learning to master them...it's a matter of because i cant find a proper raid group without GS stacking or finding a guild with outrageous requirements so i get aggrivated and just go on to another toon.

But this topic is not about what toon i play or how i do it, everyone has their own prefrence and considering where this topic is already going im just going to lock it away and let it die.
