2x1h or 1x2h for ret paladin?

#1 by ikyeye » Sun Feb 19, 2012 9:12 pm

The title clearly says it all.
I wonder which one is better, I don't have time yet to test it. also i dont know how to test it properly since the stats and level are giving new conversion rate per basic melee stats that yet I dont know.

discuss please and please provide math/reason.

1h + shield is what all paladins need on remorse, heaps of a palas abilities revolve around shields. if your talking about a normal ret pala like on retail then its a 1x2h. but here its 1h + shield

Don't use a two handed weapon its slower and damage is crap on remorse. Equip a shield and a 1 handed weapon because it will add defense and more available skills for you. If your pro you can stun a person and switch to a two one handed weapon while popping wings and go berserk and put back a shield. Make a macro like:

/equip (weapon)

and then

/equip (shield)

and you will do more damage if your timing is right but if your not pro then stick to a 1 handed weapon and a shield ;)
