Guide on how to fix your druid crash problem out of game.

1st Method type this directly into your wow chat letter for letter.
/console PlayerStatLeftDropDown Melee
/console PlayerStatRightDropDown Spell
/reload

it needs to be done in this order or it wont work if your still having problems continue to method # 2

First off you need to open your wow folder, then find the WTF folder and proceed below.

File Location :

World of Warcraft / WTF / Account / (Your Account Name) / Remorse / Name of Druid


On Windows Vista, if you installed the game to the default location (C:\Program Files), then the folder is hidden by default,
To see the folder. open Windows Explorer, and on the menu bar click Tools / Folder Options, then click the View tab, and click "Show hidden files and folders".

Once you get into the correct folder find SavedVariables.lua and SavedVariables.lua.bak.

Now open SavedVariables.lua.using notepad or any other editor.

This will be there.

Replace that with this.

Now save the file, you won't be able to view your base stats but the others are fine.

This will help a bit, but I'm sure 90% of the druids who screw this up will still just spam LFG rather than actually researching...

well, at least this way the standard response will be "GO LOOK IN FORUM" rather than the fix-code spam that follows the druid's spam.

95% of the people spamming for it in game are to lazy to actually look in the forums for a fix, half the time i post my macro for the fix i still get a "can't i just copy and paste it from you"

Plss Help, In Character Info I Can't See Base Stat And Spell. Why?

Can it be fixed where druids can view their base stats or is that a permanant problem that can never be fixed? If it can be fixed, how soon can druids expect it to be fixed? I know it's not a major issue, but some druids, like myself, like to see their base stats as well as everything else.

I know this may seem stupid to you guys due to the fact that I'm no programmer, but how hard would it be to create a macro with this fix and set it up where it automatically comes up on the action bar of every druid made? Like i said, im no programmer, so i dont know if this is even possible, but it would definately cut down on people in game constantly asking what the fix is. I made a macro for my toons and keep it, just in case i decide to make another druid. works fine for me. anyway, only a suggestion.

The fix is fine and works. So, I was wondeing what was the cause behind the base stats?

I mean, why only druids? Is this a problem with the fact that all stats are way higher than the "blizzlike"?

As far as I know, this bug happens to all servers that offer a 255 Fun server. Just might be something to do with the game not liking Druids that are lvl 100+
