Hi guys, I just wanted to ask if there are any good guides for frost, fire or arcane mage. I want ya'll opinions and want to know a good rotation for mages. You can give tips about playing a specific spec or playing all of them together. Thanks.

I just want to know kind of a good rotation, I play on remorse and want to try a mage but I don't know any good rotation. I know some classes are bugged like the shamans. In the shamans there is one talent that you can't put it to the max. Just want to know if there are any good rotation and know if there are any bug. Thanks.

I'm not a very good mage, but I can tell you a couple of things.

Water elemental's damage and health is very low, it's not really recommended to use (unless you can keep it alive -one more freeze is always good). For the rotation, I think it's just FFB when you can, build pyro procs up by living bomb & fireblasting. Also always watch your procs for insta-casts. The addon 'PowerAuras' helped me a lot with this.

As for talents, I don't recall any talents being disabled.

Easy Rotation: pick ur favorite out of; 1 fireball (more dmg, procs pyroblast, u have 2 use Slow rite after or b4 castin it or u will die); 2 frostfirebolt (procs pyroblast n fingers of frost, it aplies the snare effect so u dont have 2 cast slow); or 3 frostbolt (less dmg, but procs fingers of frost constantly, no pyroblast procs though, it snares n lowers heals effectiveness); u can expariment with arcane blast but i dont recomend it. this spell will b the only thing u willl ever use bsides polymorph that wont b instant cast.
cast fireblast only when impact is on, or u can cast it rite after ur fireball/frostfire 2 cast a pyroblast later (this depends on ur crit hit, with is usually above 100% or around it, this also means u dont have 2 cast scorch 2 increase ur crit)
spam arcane barrage, it procs arcane misils (only cast arcane misils when they r proc, otherwise its a waste of mana n time)
i personally only use living bomb 2 keep rouges from evanishin cuz it does low dmg, but u can use it 2 proc more pyroblasts if u want.
Ovious tips: keep ur mana shield on, 2m of mana mean 2m of hp, literaly. keep ur ice barrier on 2; when u freeze some1 u can cast ice lance, or deep freeze n then 3-4 ice lances. if ur target is not snared cast slow n get distance. dragon's breath n blast wave r better than frost nova 2 keep distance but frost nova has less cooldown n u can ice lance or deep freeze.
Resuming: watch out 4 ur procs (fingers of frost, pyroblast, impact, n arcane misils) use them anytime u can
some pvp hints: if u see a rouge evanishin in front of u dont cast arcane explosion (his sap has more range), use cone of cold instead. most melees should b n easy fight, u have everythin u need 2 kite, cast dragons breast n blink if they get 2 close. silence palys while they r healin n spell steal their wings (avenger's wrath). dk r harder, but u can kite them the same. casters r ur doom, mages dmg is too nerfed n theres nothin u can do about it (u only have 1 spell interrupt that silences for 3 sec) u can use dragon's breast and the ignite talent as a 2nd silence, but it wont make a big difference.
i think the only things not workin r: the water elemental (it doesnt cast water blast or however thats called nor frost nova); remove curse doesnt remove anything, ur still cursed n u wasted 1 sec of the fight n lost more hp on dots; the talent fiery payback is definitively bugged, its supposed 2 lower the castin time of pyroblast when u have lil hp while increasin its cooldown, but sometimes it works with full hp (this is more a con than a pro, u cast pyroblast constantly, a cooldown only lowers your dps, but sometimes its usefull in pve) when this talent is procd change ur main spell (fireball/frostfire/frostbot) for pyroblast n dont wait 4 any other proc than ignite (of course, dont 4get 2 cast slow).
