Hey,
I'm pretty new here, so I'd like to ask:
What to do with Garnet Gems? What are they used for? If I should trade them for Diamond ..-->.. Hyper, what to do with them?

Garnet Gems are used to upgrade your gear in later quests.

You'll need them for gear upgrade quests, then you work your way through the different gems needed for certain quests. All gems are none tradable due to them being quest items. So hang on to them as you will need them soon enough along with lots of other mats.

So I need to do all quests for items from Nexus, ICC, VoA?
(I mean that Q where I need Daily Emblems and Emblem of the Black Demon)

Well Nexus yes, but you can skip ICC if you just go to the NPC outside ICC itself to get a quest called "Improving your amors" (I think it's called) and then go straight to VOA.

Personally i don't and have never done this myself as i prefer to gear up properly to move on to the next instance. But many do and get away with it. So it's up to you really.

Save them and use it for future quests for Supremus,SR gear you can convert it into other gems that you will need.

Don't use garnet gems to get diamond gems, it's a waste of time because by the time you'll need diamond gems you're good enough to go to BGs, where you get mini upgrade tokens for each honorable kill. These can be turned into armor upgrade tokens at the honor vendor and then turned into daily emblems or any kind of gem.

Actually, that's the only purpose garnets have. You can get all the other gems easily via the armor upgrade system, but the garnets aren't worth getting via PvP. You need 150 garnets for full brutal, which is easier to get if you gain them by going to the Stockades/DM.

Whoops, don't mind the contradiction there. I meant every other better gem besides diamonds. Making garnets useless if you want to have better gems than diamonds. Sapphires, Emeralds (via sapphires gained via PvP) and Hypers are all easy to get by doing battlegrounds, and generally not worth farming garnets for.
