How To Downgrade 4.1.0 to 4.0.6

Hi there,

i was just upgrading patches and didnt notice that the way was changed. launcher upgrades the latest patch automatically, i didnt notice that.

now i need to downgrade my game to 4.0.6, can anyone help me about this?

You cant down grade, you can only download the ready to go torrent now.

The launcher is broken, use the manual way to install the game.

Same here ran launcher updated to 4.1.0 and couldnt play or downgrade

.But found a solution

by downloading a wow.exe file with game version 4.0.6(13623) so far it loggs me in and even created char

.

You dont need to downgrade. Simply replace the 4.1.0 wow.exe with a 4.0.6 wow.exe and patch the 4.0.6 wow.exe, its what I'm doing.

TO PATCH FROM 4.1.0 to 4.0.6
just download this, its a 4.0.6 .EXE file. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M0IAXM5Z
Psssword for dowload is ac-web.org

Now go into the launchers folder (wherever you extracted it to)>4.0.6 now grab yourserverlauncher.exe and put it in your wow folder. use skyfire patcher> make sure your realmlist is correct. then log in and enjoy cata.
